You're a bear. You build a place for humans to stay. It's pretty good.

After playing through the entirety of the game and collecting every achievement, I can only whole-heartedly recommend it. It's simpler than a lot of other management sims, but it fits the vibe. You're a bear, things can only be so complicated. The game does a lot with its setting and tells a cozy story where you uncover the history of the woods and the characters populating it.
There were some launch hiccups (*cough* iron nails *cough*), but once they were fixed the game has been a joy to play through.

The graphics and writing all come together to create an incredibly grasping world, and it's the smaller interactions you have outside of the main story that really sell this game and elevate it beyond what it would be if those were either not there or didn't have that extra touch of detail.
That said, the ending felt lackluster and made me feel more disappointed than satisfied, leaving me wanting more out of the ending experience.

Overall though, I had a great time and I will definitely be doing more playthroughs. I love this little raccoon man.

Easily one of the best stories I have experienced in any video game. Coupled with the fantastic level design and the gorgeous music setting the tone, this game was a fantastic experience.

Playing as Tilo the mouse, sneaking around the castle, avoiding the patroling rats towering above you, the game balances the fear of getting caught by the rats with the easy-going visuals of the animals.
The quests are easy enough to be completed by anyone, yet obscured enough that paying attention to the story is absolutely crucial.
The story is as gripping as it is witty and it will both break and warm your heart to its limits.

The only complaint I could have is that the amount of empty walking is a bit over the top, but the environments make it bearable.

As a whole, it's a magical game that was highly enjoyable and highly price-worthy,
