As far as other true Adventure games, the best I've played so far are:
The Longest Journey
Dreamfall: The Longest Journey
Secret Files: Tunguska
Keepsake (Charming and truly challenging)
Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened
Sherlock Holmes: Nemesis
Syberia (Overrated, but still enjoyable)
You've probably played these. Also, I'm not including older Adventures like The Secret of Monkey Island or King's Quest IV - VI, though they are worth trying if you can handle the graphics.
I haven't come across any other games that have the unique mechanics of RtMI and Journey to the Moon.
