This is mainly a reskin of the first, npc, slimes and enemies are mostly the same. features are mostly the same. it's not a 2 it's a mod... and to think i waited for the second one...

I really wanted to like this game but it's just graphically good and the voice acting is sweet, but that's it.
I'm playing max difficulty and it's just not challenging.
The ideologies in the game are basic and childlish.
Really hoped to like this.

Long repetitive game, when you finish the game you get a "Thanks to our families" and get tp'd to base.

Short but worth

The lore is so dumb and useless, the levels are so short and end as soon as you get to perceive an hint of fun.
Full of unskippable dialogs.

The game is good for the first hours, you get to love tinkering with wands, discovering the secrets and trying to get the achivments et all (not spoiling).
The problem is that the game is big dead, not getting updates since 2021, many points remain unsoled and the game feels boring after the 10th time you finish it, so a strong buy WHEN and IF they update it and add things to do otherwise no.

I played since 2016, Behaviour doesn't care about it's player base.
It was fun but they make cyclically make 10 bad updates, 1 fun update, 10 bad updates etc.
Not worth giving money to a studio like this

Very bugged and the story is rushed and badly written, not worth.

Poorly programmed, most of the times collisions are wrong or not counted at all.
Spelunky 1 was programmed better
Spelunky 2 is graphically superior, only that
