((Originally received game as a gift from a friend))
Updated July 26th, 2024.

PROS:

- This game is fun, especially for those who enjoy shooter type games as a group.
- Is updated with changes and new additions through warbonds. Please note that warbonds are often premium, and need to be bought with game currency. Like other battle passes, you can slowly accumulate this currency over time, or outright purchase with real currency.
- You can go on missions on a variety of planets with different effects and face either bugs or bots of varying difficulty levels. I play on Suicide with one other person and we have a good time.

CONS:

- The debacle of PSN account linking created a huge controversy, and the amount of people playing this game has dropped substantially from what it used to be. Before, if I threw an SOS beacon by accident, which was often, I would have to kick multiple people trying to join in. Now, I can throw an SOS beacon and completely forget about it, because nobody comes.

- Some in authority positions (CM, Moderators) in the official Discord were condescending, smug, and rude to the player base, and are honestly unfit to be in these authority positions, yet they remain unpunished (save one CM being removed and one Moderator being demoted). Edit: I left the Discord after this, and have no desire to go back to it, so I don't know what has changed, if anything. If what I've heard is correct, nothing has changed, and the same people on the same power-trips are doing pretty much the same thing. While this does not affect gameplay, the community and its culture is important to some, and it was worth noting.

- Despite the publisher changing course, the game remains unavailable for purchase to those in the locked regions. Edit: I don't know if this has changed. If it hasn't, that sucks for those who have been locked out of a game they purchased. Again, this is an important factor to some and is worth nothing.

I am changing my review to a Yes because at its core, it's a game that is fun and can be enjoyed without sinking a bunch of money into it. However, it should also be noted that both Arrowhead and Sony were scummy and predatory, and Arrowhead, it's CEO, and its Discord moderators were vile to the very players who made the game as popular as it was, and are the very reason the numbers have dropped the way they have. Every bug or bot killed is done for the players that can or will no longer play.

I started playing Conan in 2020 and still enjoy it nearly four years later. The vast majority of my hours are in RP, but when I do find myself in single-player, I am usually building. I was wary of the construction hammer when it was first added, but it has grown on me, and I couldn't find myself building any other way. I also recently made my way back into Warmaker's and was surprised to find him a lot more beefy and challenging. It's a great game for singleplayer, co-op, or jumping onto a server, official or otherwise, to use as a creative outlet or just enjoy another world for awhile. I look forward to what Funcom has in store in the future.

Early Access Review
A mixture of Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley with a Disney twist, it's easy to lose yourself in hours of consecutive gameplay if you're not watching the time. Bringing your favorite past and present Disney characters, including villains, together in harmony, building friendships, unlocking cute cosmetics, and enjoying extra storylines. I appreciate the attention to detail from the devs, who help these characters interact in ways that don't detract from their worlds. I enjoy the game, my six year old daughter loves it, and makes for sweet entertainment when we just want to unwind and relax.

Of course it's not without bugs, glitches, and issues, but the devs have been fantastic in addressing them, and very communicative with the community. Overall, it's a great game, has great support, and I look forward to all the future Disney friends that arrive in the valley!

I have only put 11 hours into this game so far, but it is HIGHLY addicting for some reason. I've watched various shows on HGTV (I'm a 30-something parent, stop judging me) so I was interested in this game from the get go. But when playing it, I want to go from one project to the next and not stop. I have such a great time messing around with it!

I haven't even played this game for an hour, and naturally, being the immature child I am, I find it absolutely hilarious! Yes, you can poop on people. You can poop in boxes, in trash cans, in soup (obviously) while also pooping on unsuspecting passerby including mamas and their babies, hipsters, bicyclists, cars, and dogs. Three levels, New York City, Beijing, and Paris, each one having its own "To Poo" list, which gives you some objectives for where to launch your crap. While I likely won't play this all day every day, it's a good back up for the days where I don't know what to play, or for a day where I seriously need the laughs.

You can play as one of four survivors who need to repair five generators, which then will allow you to open one or both of two exit gates and escape. You also have the potential to escape through the hatch. You can play as the killer, who needs to sacrifice survivors to the Entity. You earn bloodpoints which you can then spend for perks, items, and add ons. This game does have a little bit of a learning curve, and it's usually recommended you watch others play to get a feel for it. The game also has the potential to be addicting, especially if you're already into the horror genre.

But beware. There is a toxic presence in the community. If you do not play the way others would, you may catch some choice words after the match, and sometimes it can give downright abusive. If you cannot handle toxic people, if you do not have thick skin, and if you don't feel like dabbling in the drama, you can always click the chat bubble before the match starts so you don't have to see any talk after the match is over, or you could always avoid the game itself. That will depend on you personally.

I have a great time in this game as a survivor or a killer for the most part. I have run into plenty of good people, and I have also ran into bad apples, which will happen with any competitive game. I do recommend the game for the gameplay, but as I stated earlier, if you cannot handle trash talk, if you don't want to be around toxic people, then the competitive multiplayer aspect may not be for you. It doesn't hurt to try it out.

This is such a fanastically addictive little game for me. It's easy to get lost and go "just one more day" and before you know it, you've finished year one. Great game!

Skyrim is a beautiful addition to the Elder Scrolls franchise! Of course it is not without bugs or a glitch here and there, but the storyline, questing, graphics, and much more, make it all very much worth it! Definitely one of my favorites!
