I really, really, love Remedy Entertainment's games and lore. I'm giving this a thumbs up because I think it's a well made and fun game, but there is one *huge* caveat that I have to say somewhat ruins the game unless you have friends to play with: there is no in-game voice or text chat. The game is already improving a lot in terms of tutorialization, but some mechanics still need you to either look it up or learn from another player (assuming you're not hectically trying to survive). This makes it extremely hard to synergize with randoms, and sticking close together/using the different kits to interact with the environment is extremely important.

Absolutely Incredible. It's not even done yet and it's in my top 3 of all time.

You too can make FPSes great again by not playing this one - you've got plenty of other great options.

This game had a lot of potential but ultimately it's an okay arcade racer. There are a lot of things I like about it but once Sumo Digital got involved the game was ported to their engine and I just can't stand how bad the handling can feel sometimes. Also, a huge downside to this game is that they never added cloud saves (I found this out the hard way). If you are a superfan of arcade racers this game is worth experiencing but otherwise don't bother.

Story of the year

Great game if you like fluid platformer combat and puzzle game mechanics. It's not for everyone, but for those who do like both genres this game SLAPS. It's also got such a comfy story/characters that I just adore.

Still the apex of the match 3 genre, from a time before everything was infested with microtransactions. The beautiful, detailed art, and the sweeping synth music give it an otherworldly feel while the numerous modes give you plenty to do. This game feels like the culmination of everything Popcap was trying to do with Bejeweled. Well worth the low asking price.

RIP Popcap. You were the best casual puzzle game developer in the industry until EA ransacked everything worthwhile from the company.

I never played the original flash game, but as a commercial release in 2024 it's hard to say that this is very fun as it feels more like an unrefined Trials HD. I do like the color switching mechanic but it's way too easy to end up on your back from flipping.

The core PVP game is fun, but I cannot in good faith recommend anyone play this unless they already had a bunch of characters unlocked from the beta. Aggressive micro-transactions (not micro here, that's for damn sure) and grinding everywhere, and a reminder of just how awful WB is with game monetization.

I still play this game despite Epic Games trying to take away some of the best parts of it lol
