It's a decent h-game that's way too expensive. Only buy it at 50% or higher discount.

This VN barely has 30 minutes of gameplay, so I cannot recommend this at 7 bucks. There isn't any deep storytelling here: This is girl A. She needs some random crap from the store. Get the stuff and be rewarded with snu-snu. Repeat this 4 times, and you're done.

Now, when it comes to these kinds of games, the cream in the pie was always the quality and quantity of the scenes. Despite the low playtime, it has 3 per girl for a total of 12 scenes. These are kinda short as you might expect and don't offer any interactivity. However, the animations do look nice and the girls are pretty.

Overall it's a good first try from the devs, but I only recommend picking it up at 2 or 3 bucks at most.

Like a man with an explosive personality once said: "Not great, not terrible."

I got this from my buddy Nemasag when the 1.5 patch was released (Thanks, bro!), so I can't comment on the state of the game before the patch, but after experiencing everything the game has to offer, I have to say, despite the mixed reviews it was a pleasant surprise.

Lords of the Fallen has great ideas and twists on the souls-like genre. Some are well-executed, some are clunky at best and some will make you want to jump in front of a speeding train.

The game looks neat: The game has around 20 areas and save for 2 or 3 of those, each location looks somewhat unique. The first part of the game has too much of the same: You'll constantly move from ledge to cave to forest to cave to forest etc. So the scenery will get boring quickly, thanks to the primarily muddy and dark coloring that relies heavily on the gray-red-yellow combo. The second half of the game has a lot more variety in this regard. There is also the umbral realm, which looks similar everywhere with its dark-blueish hue. However, the equipment looks stunning.

The level design could be a lot better in my opinion, it heavily relies on caves, platforms, and huge drops for progression. Like I've said before, you'll constantly have to enter caves to progress from one area to another. The Umbral realm saves some points here with its clever implementation, but without it traveling Axiom gets boring quickly.

Combat is where a souls-like game's fate is decided. Lords of the Fallen has its twists on the formula, and it manages to have a fun combat system that's not without flaws. Let's start with those, shall we?
You have three additional dmg types next to physical: radiant, fire, and umbral. It's the classic rock-paper-scissors scenario, each area revolves around one of these, so you can change your playstyle accordingly. However, it doesn't really matter that much, because the bonus is so low it isn't worth changing your gear constantly.
The poise is also way too high in my opinion. You'll constantly trade hits with enemies without any of you flinching. It just feels weird.
Every weapon type also has the same move set, making weapons a little more than glorified stat sticks for your character. You'll be using the ones with the fastest and widest attack patterns because you'll frequently face group mobs and the game rewards you with more damage the more hits you can deal without being interrupted. This makes the combat feel a lot more arcade-ish.
The Umbral realm doesn't help the combat either: When you die you'll automatically get a second wind in Umbral, which is great, but the realm is filled with trash mobs, sabotaging and annoying you to death.

Not all is lost, however, because there are some things the devs nailed.
I believe the spell system is something even FromSoft could copy: It's fluid, easy to use, and effective. Building characters is also easier than most souls-likes, thanks to a lot of dual-scaling weapons.
Parrying is like in Sekiro, you'll have to do it more than once to break the enemy's posture, but it's easier.
Most main boss fights are incredibly cool.
The new game modifiers are also excellent, making the game worth replaying a few times.
Coop is also something FormSoft should copy: It's drop-in-drop-out, without the need to constantly rejoin after bosses or dying. It isn't seamless coop though, so only the host's game progresses when playing.

Sounds and music are fine, it's dark and orchestra-y. I've had Castlevania: LoS vibes from it. Good enough for playing in the background while playing, but nothing I'd play on its own.

Overall it's a decent game, I highly recommend it if you can get it during a sale.

Early Access Review
Adequately priced VN, with the potential to be something great.

As of writing this, the game has about 30 minutes of playtime which doesn't seem long, but it is well-packed with h-scenes. Right now I'd say it has an intro for a story, it's just enough to take you from one h-scene to the next.

The story itself doesn't seem to be too deep either, which is fine by me. Not every story has to be jaw-dropping to be fun. It has branching paths with different outcomes so that's a big plus. However, the dev should add a scene gallery to the menu.

The models look great, I've only seen one or two renders where one girl looked a bit plastic-y for my taste, but generally, the quality is good.

Speaking of good, the animations are well-made. Not the greatest ones I've seen, but far from the janky garbage I had the displeasure of seeing while playing some other titles. The animations have some moans, so the scenes aren't completely silent.

For 2 bucks, it has enough content at release to justify the price.

It's a pretty good first try from a single developer. We'll see how the finished game will turn out.

Sakuya sure is a hardworking girl.

This is a short kinetic novel/eroge featuring a certain Touhou girl. Despite the 20-minute-ish runtime, the game has a decent amount of situations and it's fully animated. The story itself is pretty cozy and even has a twist near the end.

In my opinion, 7 bucks as a base price is a bit high, but I absolutely recommend it if you can get it on sale.

Take notes Ubisoft, this is how you sunset your game gracefully.

I'm not really a racing-type guy, but after hearing the game's delisting and seeing the whopping 80% off the price tag, I couldn't resist buying this. Oh boi, I'm so glad I did.

After spending a decent amount of time in-game, let me tell you about the experience fellow steam-lurker, because I've been there. I've seen the craziness, from the depths of the deepest lake to the top of the highest mountain, and I can assure you there's no game series like this on the market currently. (No, not even the Crew. Even if it could come close, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ would rather have their entire workforce search for the one black guy mentioned in Japanese history to make him a samurai in their next game, rather than put up a tiny patch to make their older game work offline. The moral of the story: don't overeat snails ppl or you'll lose brain cells.)

Upon starting the game you'll be arriving in the most extensive sandbox I've ever seen. After doing the few "tutorial" races you'll pretty much left to your own devices, like when your mama went to talk to the neighbor Sarah for two minutes and hasn't come home for half a day. The game expects you to do the same stuff you did back then: go crazy and do whatever you want.

Want to explore?
Enjoy the vast sandbox, especially with the Ultimate edition's add-on packs. You might even come across some very social players and tackle the content in a group co-op session, or just some random fellow weebs to band together and share waifu liveries with each other. I've already seen more tofu drivers drifting off cliffs in this game than anywhere else in my entire life.

Are you more into competition?
Hop into PVP and have the most immersive Balkan driveway experience you could ever wish for. I ♥♥♥♥ you not, the only thing missing from the complete experience is the random players jumping out of their cars with baseball bats to whoop your arse. It's also a great learning tool, you'll be able to curse in at least ten different languages in no time if you're in the EU.
That's not all, if you have a fortnite-junkie kid you may cure their addiction by making them play elimination. It's a win-win situation if you ask me.

Completionist should also have a great time here with more than 750 cars to collect and tune, not to mention the outworld activities like smashing boards, jump-spots or the Forzathon which is a grand overworld co-op mode.

Overall I really enjoy this game, and sure as heck I'll buy into FH5 one day, when I'm done with this installment. If you decide to grab it, buy the Ultimate, the extra content in it is well worth the 6 bucks.

CURRSEE YOUUU BAAAYYLLEE!

So with this DLC you get a mini Elden Ring in your Elden Ring so you can play Elden Ring while playing Elden ring.

It's pricy, yes, but here the content can justify the price. It's a pretty big expansion, with its own "leveling system" so even decked out character with levels in the high 3-500s will have a challenge. Apart from the usual new additions like bosses or spells, there are new weapons with new movesets that can significally alter or create new playstyles to freshen things up.

Usually some of the best bosses in the souls games come from the DLCs, thankfully most bosses here are really cool too, some will be remembered for a long time for sure.

Gameplay wise its more of the same, the graphics is gorgeus and I love the soundtrack more than I did the base game's.

If you liked the base game, don't be discouraged by the price of the DLC, it has Witcher 3 Expansion levels of content.

Old, but gold.

An originally free 2 play MOBA/Hero Shooter that didn't get the treatment it deserved from its previous publisher. Despite its relatively short lifespan (It was online for only 1 year if I remember correctly) the game amassed a decent fanbase. I still blame Perfect World for its demise, it's like they weren't even trying to make this project a success.

It is still a damn fun game and looks pretty unique even today, not to mention its hardware requirements are laughably low, so even your grandma's toaster will run it perfectly fine. It's easy to jump in and play a few matches because they are designed to be fast-paced and the game has a relatively low skill floor. Some heroes are easy to learn and beginners can do very well with them. The skill ceiling on the other hand is pretty high, so if you get hooked on it you can do some crazy shiz.

The current version costs 20 bucks, but it doesn't have any microtransactions, paid skins, battle-pass, or stuff like that. You get everything the game had to offer originally, plus some unreleased heroes/maps. However, it doesn't have any upcoming content planned, maybe if it gets enough sales.

I absolutely recommend buying the game, it is a unique experience. Hopefully, it finally gets the recognition it deserves.

For anyone using Linux on launch day and the game doesn't want to start with proton, try PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%

A nice looking premium shop with a busted game around it.

The gameplay is your average card game with a bunch of waifus. You start the game, click fight, and get matched with a bot who plays some random player's deck. Sounds simple right? Except the bot will cheat if you get a decent win streak. It will use the same skill multiple times in a row. So it will push you down in your current league or even push you down several leagues.

It's funny when your supposed power level is 3 leagues above compared to where you currently are. No problem you can grind yourself back up right? Of course, but you have to wait between 2 and 12 hrs, then you can open your previous win-boxes to get stronger a tiny bit. Out of the 10 slots, you can only use 5. Need more? Pay from 5 to 50 bucks per slot so you can play more.

Still getting your ass handed to you by the bot? How about buying one of their paid booster packs? Guaranteed power spike, if you buy one of the busted chars that can win by themselves, congratulations. See you in 2 leagues above so you can repeat the same thing.
I ♥♥♥♥ you not, right now there are over 30(!!!) "Deals" on the shop ranging from 5 bucks to 500. This ♥♥♥♥ would make even EA blush. Just look at the new leader they released, it costs 5000 gems which costs 70 USD (130 USD if you don't count the "first-time" bonus).

So how about that adult content? You won't see much of it, because you won't be able to finish the events as F2P. The 4 scenes I managed to unlock (the league unlocks, because sure as hell I'm not sinking money into this) are decent, but nothing to write home about. Simple 2d animations without any way to control anything.

The writing is decent and the CGs are pretty good, however, I can't deal with the frequent "deal" pop-ups during gameplay. Scratch the leaderboards, you won't be able to finish most events without paying even if you grind your ass off, let alone have a decent rank. Don't waste your time.
