Very short but incredibly powerful. It'll be in your head for quite a while afterwards.

I'm loving it.

As much as I loved the earlier Total War games, I never felt that I totally "got" them. I always felt incompetent on the battlefield and clueless on the world map sections - which quickly lead me to give up playing them after only a few hours.

As a teenager I loved the idea of playing Warhammer, painting the figurines and reading the lore but never had anyone to play with (plus the rulebook was a bit too daunting for my young brain back then)

What Total War: WARHAMMER does for me is combine both those loves. The Warhammer lore keeps me interested long enough for me to actually become competent playing the game.

So far I've completed the main campaign as The Empire and am now playing through the new Beastmen campaign and loving the total change of playstyle.

I've not really played any single battles vs the AI or any multiplayer battles as I'm quite happy to work through the campaign as the different races.
