A poem. If I had to sum up the game in one word, that would be it.

Expedition 33 was made with a love and passion for video games, and this is evident in its gameplay, narrative and construction.
There wasn't a single place or even a single OST that didn't make me let out a “Woooow”.
The game's characters are deep, engaging and equally interesting. I won't say any names, but some of them have a divine sense of humor.

I have only one real fault to give the game, and that's its balancing. After a certain point in the game, the damage bar you inflict quickly becomes ridiculous for certain characters, and quite honestly I effortlessly one-shot all the game's endgame + story content.
I don't think this concern applies to NG+1, given my first impressions, but I still think it's a shame, because not everyone will make the effort to rediscover these battles at their true value.

In all sincerity, though, even with this flaw, the game is an absolute success, and I hope with all my heart that it will be rewarded for its true worth. Remember, Sandfall's first game, a big bravo and a huge thanks for this game.
