Whether it is a good souls game or not, it doesn't matter.
You can buy this game and finish the story as most casual players do, thats okay.
But you can actually make it last forever if you get into PvP. Coop, Invasions, duels, the never-ending possibilities for builds, DS3 just won't stop being fun, if you have the patience to actually get good at the game.
I've almost reached 1k hours on PC, so you know I really mean what I'm saying
