Absolutely phenomenal game. My only gripe with it is that they cut down on some of the endgame content in favour of a more fleshed out middlegame. Not a bad choice per se, but I'd have liked to have more things to do after beating all the stories.

Great DLC, love the new rides and trees. Firework sequences is also easily one of the best in any theme park game, really easy to set up and incredibly versatile. 10/10..

Simply one of the best bullet hell roguelikes out there. Boatloads of content, difficulty is just right. Don't let my steam playtime fool you, I've sunk hundreds of hours into this game on console, and loved every second of it. Would highly recommend it to anyone.

I was a diehard RCT2 fan and decided to try out some new takes on the franchise. Planet Coaster was the big name out there, but after trying it, I just can't get into it.

The game is just too decoration and theming focused, and demands you spend a lot of time creating a pretty park by tweaking each and every individual piece until you hit the max scenery rating. It's a wonderful game for creatives, and you can create some truly great looking parks that you can't do in other games. But players like me just want to play a management game, focusing on keeping the park running, not making it look like Disneyland. I'm not interested in a theme park sandbox, I want a challenge.

I also hate the fact that there's no isometric camera. Something about theme park sims seems to flow so much better in isometric. Maybe I'm just too used to RCT2, but I cant manage with a freecam. It needlessly complicates camera controls while not adding many benefits.

There are also way too few ride types as compared to some other games. Even RCT2 had more ffs. Yeah you can get some more by buying extra dlc's, but those are expensive and I already paid a pretty penny for this game and shouldnt have to buy DLC's to really enjoy the game. This isn't the Sims franchise.

I should probably also mention that the game requires quite a beefy pc if you want the full experience. Anything short will mean you will have the lower the graphics settings and limit the guest cap significantly.

In short, if you're the type of guy who likes to spend ages on their park building elaborate structures and gardens and just generally enjoy making everything look as good as possible, you'll likely have a lot of fun with this game. But if you're like me, and prefer management focused games more reminiscent of the original RCT's, do yourself a favor and get Parkitect instead. It's a lot of fun for a third of the price.

Parkitect is the true spiritual successor to the RollerCoaster Tycoon series. It improves on RCT2 in almost every way, while still staying true to the formula so you never feel lost. It's a much more management focused game than Planet Coaster, just like the original RollerCoaster Tycoons. Even the graphics look like a modern take on the graphics from the original RCT's.

In short, buy this game if you loved the originals. Once you learn the new mechanics of the game, you'll likely never go back.

There's something incredibly exhilharating about playing a grown man in a bat costume and punching up other grown men not in bat costumes.

10/10 would punch again.

You may notice my game time is not that high. And there's a good reason for that.

Simply put, this game is boring. It's a mobile game that's been given multiplayer and brought to Steam. At most times, there isn't anyone playing multiplayer, and you need to wait minutes to find a game. Minutes doesn't seem like too much to wait, but when the game lasts 20 seconds at best, it's a lot. The Single Player will keep you for one game, and then you'll get bored of that too. There just isn't any content in this game that keeps you hooked. Skins do nothing but make you look beter, and the music is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ terrible it will make your ears bleed.

Get it for free, or don't get it at all.
