Time, Mr Freeman? Is it really that time once again?

Play cards, smash tables, fun for all the family.

My playtime speaks volumes for Garry's Mod. Hands down the most well-made game I have ever played which has lead to countless days of entertainment and an uncountable amount of memories and friendships made. Every experience in Garry's Mod is a new one and no two multiplayer servers are the same.


- A sandbox game with virtually no limit on what you can do.
- Plenty of multiplayer servers with different gamemodes and maps.
- Easily add a whole host of third-party mods to make the experience even more unique.


- A over-repetitive use of the DarkRP gamemode.
- A very tough learning curve.
- Not really updated anymore.



Updated in 2018: Still the best game available.

The Forest is a very thrilling game which has the unique element of being both a survival game and a co-op story based adventure. As the user, you can decide to only play the survival element and expand your empire without ever needing to / being forced to pursue the underlying story. Survival and story are intertwined so well that it is possible to play the game for hours without even realising that there is a story. Should you choose to buckle down and survive, there is many caves to wonder into and the environment seems to change and become progressively harder as you survive for longer - requiring you to build bigger and better bases. Dare to wonder off the path and explore the story behind your visit to the island, the story piece of The Forest becomes it's own game and is very immersive. I have personally felt that it takes a very long time to reach the 'end-game' objective of The Forest and even then, is still so enjoyable to play.

- Excellent story that really makes you go 'wow'.
- Beautifully made environment with so much to do and explore.


- Lot's of bugs.
- No clear set of objectives.
- Repetitive.

Planet Coaster allows you to go wild and make your wildest dreams come to life in your very own theme park. Spline based rollercoaster designing and the ability to warp and shape the terrain come together really nicely alongside custom built shops and other attractions.


- Spline based rollercoaster design is well implemented and works great.
- A very good looking game and the tools to shape your theme park to the style you want.
- Customiseable builds allow you to spend hours creating that one of a kind pizza stand.


- Moderately sized theme parks with an excess of 1,000 guests can be very resource intensive.
- Not much spawnable variety at the moment.
- Guests get very easily intimidated which leads you to not really be able to create / use high thrilling rides.

Astroneer is a very well made and extremely beautiful game. It is clear what you need to do, despite there being no objectives or instuctions and having only passive-aggressive enemies means that the game is very easy to pick up and play without much distraction or complexity.

- Easy to pick up and play, no instructions needed.
- Lot's to explore.


- Lack of content or end-game goal, resulting in a very quick completion time.
- Can get rather repetitive.
- Lack of objectives.

A well made horror game that takes place in a tried and tested setting. Outlast features chilling enviromental effects as well as jump scare cut scenes to throw you into a panic and keep you on the edge of your seat. I personally am only able to play Outcast in short sprints as it becomes a little too overwhelming.


- Excellent environmental effects that keep you scared at all times.
- Nice use of a first-person camera which is your only life line during dark scenes.
- No overuse of tacky jump scenes.


- An average setting which has been used in many horror games / films.
- Overuse of enemies and missions, lead you to do similiar tasks but in different areas.
- Not much user interactivity.

Grand Theft Auto V really throws the user head-on into an immersive and exciting experience where you are able to explore and do so much. At the same time, you are taken along the story of three completely different people and how their paths intertwine together.

The multiplayer of Grand Theft Auto V offers a whole new level of immersiveness and allows you to sink all your real life money to make an awesome virtual life.

- Immersive multiplayer.
- Lot's of user interaction and things to do and explore.


- The NPC's are extremely unintelligent and make bad decisions constantly.
- There are a lot of aggressive players on multiplayer.
- Multiplayer is made harder by including no ability to undergo a vast array of tedious tasks quickly, such as bulk moving vehicles from one garage to another.
