It has a lot to live up to but a great representation of a modern M&B

TLDR:
This game is absolutely fun but it can feel empty and repetitive after only 5-7 hours depending on your game pacing. If you enjoy city building games and are willing to bear with a development team that is slowly pushing the game forward, this game is for you. If you like playing more strategic city building games that involve a lot of planning and can carry on for upwards of 20 hours, you may not enjoy this game in its current state.

My Experience Playing:
The game is extremely easy to pick up. As of now, there aren't many things you can build but it is diverse enough to have a slight learning curve. After only 15 to 20 minutes, I understood almost everything that needed to be done. My first playthrough, I built a basic city on a peaceful difficulty to learn the mechanics of the game. After I finished, I continued to both difficulty levels. I'm still playing my current game and am really enjoying it. I had minor issues whilst playing but none of them really affected gameplay; the biggest issue is the game crashing to the desktop which is not too bad. All in all, nothing terrible.

The gameplay itself is interesting enough to keep your attention for the first 4-5 hours. After that, it does feel a bit boring due to lack of game content. After 4-5 hours, I personally had done almost everything there was to do in the game other than achievement completion. People who really love these types of game would really enjoy this area of the game. Pressing forward at this point and completing your kingdom is a fantastic feeling. Expanding to the borders of the map whilst still maintaining my kingdom was and is the only reason to keep playing after hour 5.

If you have $10 USD to spend on a city building and strategy game and have already explored other games like Cities Skylines, Sim City, and Age of Empires, this game will fit right in with your strategy library. While it feels far from finished, the developers are working hard to add content to make this game feel like a polished strategic experience.

I really want to have fun with this game. I barely got to play it but it just won't launch on my system.

Alright first off, go to the developers website for the patch. Most of the negative reviews are bashing the censorship. Also, it is censor not sensor.

Regardless, House Party is a really fun roleplaying game. If you aren't into games that delve into the NSFW world then I wouldn't say it is really for you. But if you are into NSFW games then this game is fantastic.

PROS
-Steam Patch
-Relatively fun puzzles (Except for one)
-Voice acting rather than just text
-Modability
-'P'

CONS
-Can use some optimization
-Finding the password to the phone made me want to off myself. You will probably have to look it up.
-The characters aren't all the most likeable. I'm not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ straight edge bro. Stop forcing me.

Overall, I would recommend this game if you are into this genre. I think $15 dollars is too high for the amount of gameplay that you will have, but the investment is good if you are looking forward. At this price point, I would say it is a no go if you aren't fully looking for more.
