if u already have Ultimate Collection from EA give for free Then No need to buy this version
But u don't like to fix a bug on u own then buy this version it fix almost anything from Ultimate collection (shadow,resolution,crashed when launch,pink flashing) and not require EA Play (ea app suck) u can launch and play instant from steam
i also have Ultimate Collection but i have no regrets to buy this again Sims 2 is my top fav in sims series
expensive or cheap it on u decision just let u know if u buy 25th birthday bundle on this price u can get Sims1 Sims2 all dlc include (sims2 miss 1 dlc cus licence) and no need to use EA app is reasonable for me
