I was happily playing along only to load the game up this evening and my save is just gone. After some research, it looks like this is a thing. Grab Dave the Diver instead for your indie fish fix.

Edit: I got my save back thanks to the link below. I'm still uncomfortable recommending this game since it's such a common issue.

I have followed this game from the first time it was announced and I love everything about it. It has developed so much, and it is so beautiful and deep. I would suggest giving it a try if you like story driven games with open world elements and the potential to royally mess things up to the point you can't finish a sidequest or two. Accountability is nice in a game. Everyone is always watching.

RPG + Massive Amount of Customation + Rabbit Holes = Hours of my life delightfully gone.
I got this when it was on sale and I haven't been able to stop playing it since!
To put it another way, if I could go back in time and retain the knowledge that I have now, I'd be more than happy to pay full price.

I got this game after trying it on a free weekend, and I'm so glad that I did end up with enough time to try it. I'd wanted to buy it on the Steam sale, but another game won out. Anyway, the game is a lot of fun. I technically finished the main plot within about 18 hours, but went back to do a bunch of side quests for the achievement. I found it interesting that you could play through by yourself or with someone else. I think that the system needs a bit of polish, but I would definately like to see what it could be developed into. I get stuck between boxes now and then, but it's not bad enough to make me want to stop playing the game. I kept coming back to this game when I wanted to play a game, and I'd really like some friends to play with in-game. Let me know if you decide to give this a try? I'll play along with you if you enjoy multiplayer.
