DUSK is New Blood's poster boy, and it's obvious why. Blending various classic shooters, it manages to create something that still feels fresh and beautiful. It's fast-paced, fun, atmospheric, level design is great, enemy design is great, and there's just this sense of wholesome happiness you'll feel as you use your arsenal to blow demonic goats, soldiers, and more into pieces of polygon meat.

this game is one of those you hate when it gets bad and you adore when it gets good. the feeling of triumph and victory is like no other. the feeling of losing is absolutely crushing. its monetization and its balance are still a complete mess. but i do feel like, after almost 9 years, the game is getting better at a steady pace. it will always have its pitfalls and i would not recommend this unless you have a friend guiding you through it. but if you do, i think you can have a LOT of fun.

the way so many systems interact and how you're able to carry a match without firing a single bullet is crazy. solo queue is a nightmare, playing with friends with good teamwork can create some of the most satisfying moments ever.
