BEHOLD. THE PERFECT WOMAN.

I got a ps3 way back then specifically for this game. When i saw it on Steam i got it again. This is literally a comfort game for me. All giantsquid games are, honestly. Sometimes i'll just get an itch to play them and then i do a run or two since they're nice and short.
Music is top notch, art direction makes me cry it's so beautiful, the simple yet incredibly delicious controls make my brain produce so many good chemicals. Meeting other travelers is always a joy. Having to part ways is always melancholic.

I just. I just really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ love this game. It's so good. Please play it. Do it for me.

Got it as a gift from a friend but was planning on buying it anyway to support GiantSquid Games. All their stuff slaps. Thalassophobia warning of course but i know of people with thalassophobia who have gone on record to say this game doesn't trigger them *as much* so there's that.

Anyhow. This game is, as per GiantSquid usual, BEAUTIFUL. Like, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ THIS IS SO PRETTY. Just a great game to experience. Fun fact the art direction got me obsessed with blue and gold as one of my favorite color palettes. Also the diver has kitty ears for flashlights. 10/10

My only complaint is that the meditation controls are wonky and i couldn't properly appreciate my boi basking shark (generally hard to go to the fishie you wanna see) ú.ù

i'm a sucker for coming of age stories and after finally choosing my mask having delayed it for months because i just didn't want it to end, i'm in tears. 10/10 would glide again.

kitty game real good but it hurts my heart in the beginning

Just finished 100%ing the game. It's a very soothing game with simple mechanics that even a child would be able to play, in fact, if i ever have the chance to present it to a child, i probably will.
The game doesn't have the most revolutionary writing or whatever, but it recognizes hard realities that are usually censored to children, such as eating disorders, clinical anxiety, overworking, etc etc.

As for the adults, it has that soothing effect that the oh-so-compared Stardew Valley has, but its greatly smaller size also means that you don't get swallowed up in the task vortex as easily, so people like me who tend to get easily addicted to a gameplay session have an easier time calling it a day and getting off the computer to do chores or go to sleep lol.

It still has a few buggy spots, but i didn't experience anything game-breaking or that harmed my overall experience.
Will look forward to any updates as time goes on!

It should be illegal for a game to be so relaxing. I am convinced the devs used some dark magic to instantly mellow players who boot it because i found this to be my extremely efficient go-to coping mechanism when life gets too tough.

The game doesn't feel like it has a time element related to the story so i don't feel like i'm taking too long to learn how to play efficiently, which was a big problem i have with my previous farming game experiences.
