As someone who plays live-service games infrequently, I found 𝐷𝑖𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑜 𝐼𝑉 to be a surprisingly enjoyable game. The last game that I played in the franchise was Diablo II.

This game features character progression (many options in the skill tree), appearance customization / transmogrification, loot hunting, and lots of quests. The ability to customize your character's skills as well as their appearance reminds me of everything I enjoyed about the older games in this series, as well as games like the former 𝑀𝑎𝑟𝑣𝑒𝑙 𝐻𝑒𝑟𝑜𝑒𝑠.

𝐷𝑖𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑜 𝐼𝑉 is an enjoyable diversion playing solo, or even more enjoyable with with one's spouse or a friend or three.
