Well, no Linux Support anymore... Was a great time had lots of fun.
Seems like Psyonix has a crazy bad management. Not even promising wine compatibility.
I really like what epic has done in the recent time for open source software but there game store and now this...
Now i cant even refund all the money i invested in crates cuz well why should you right ?
You wont be able to play but we will keep the money. My own fault for trusting on the promises that were made.
So if you are on windows, dont care about a real working environment and give a **** about youre privacy go ahead, it is a great game.
But i would strongly suggest to boycot such behaviour. I feel bad for all the devs that now have to take the hit for decisions by their management. This management was so incompetent it couldnt plan a long overdue graphic engine overhaul so that their developers are able to utilize the strong points of vulkan (not even gonna talk about their other ports playstation 4, switch). Assuming playstation 5 might also use vulkan this dx11 upgrade isnt even future proof...

Well sadly i wasnt able to play much of the game myself because i am on linux and the proton performance was kinda unplayable. But i have watched multiple playthroughs and my first impression is:
+ fighting system seems to have some rough edges but i think it fits perfectly to gothic
+ decision making kill him or not, gives great impression of how rough the world is
+ small hints for veterans like in extremo guitar and gerbrandt from diego
+ modern overlay with great descriptions and art
+ good reward for exploration
- no animations for eating, you can just press esc in a fight and easily regenerate health
- the hero talks too much and seems to be a bit arrogant, given how weak he should be in the beginning that doesnt really fit
- hero is too strong in the beginning, killing a snapper at lvl 0 ?
- very linear story, is ok for the first quests but going forward in the story that should change
- hero shouldnt be able to do lock picking without learning it
- no interaction while lock picking
- overall the atmosphere of gothic 1 isnt really brought, kinda because great interaction like in the original gothic was deleted like in the beginning where the hero tells the judge to shut up, diego kinda too nice

All in all i really hope that the game is being made.

Really great Game. If u rush through the Game it will take about 5 hours to play the story, so not too long, but these 5 hours are really great just buy it in sale.

Unplayable on Linux at the Moment , the AI is stuck on waiting for computer...

Sadly no Linux support so far and the linux beta is broken since nearly one month

I really enjoy this game its a great game idea and it makes super fun when you hear the music flowing to ure brain while playing that game

This is a nice mini game with a freaking cool idea 10 bucks is maybe a bit to much but when it is in sale u should buy it ;)

For sure this game is very funny in the beginning but soon u get disappointed becasue its everytime the same ...
