Love the theme, there's clearly a lot of heart put into the game.

It's Warband with immense quality of life improvements. I am enjoying it a lot, and they clearly plan on sticking with development and releasing updates. Would definitely recommend!

The writing is pretty cringey but honestly at this point it's to be expected. The gameplay is by far the best in the series so far, so I'd give it a shot.

Basically endless Bastion combat. Rogue-like runs made fun and interesting by the Greek mythology influence. Not too many weapon options at the moment, but those are on the agenda and it's incredibly fun nonetheless. That being said, the more I play the more I realize that because every weapon is augmented by boons and weapon-specific upgrades, it keeps things very fresh.

If you like the physical game but hate keeping track of chits, this is a perfect remedy for that issue. Multiplayer works great and is surprisingly well designed, with good mechanics for players going afk/disconnecting temporarily. The creators obviously care a lot about their game and its lore, so it's good to support them!

This is one of the most niche video games I've ever played, but it's fantastic. One of the only video games that can be "played by email" which means it's good for playing with friends who don't have similar schedules. If you want to explore that option, utilize llamaserver.net, as it really streamlines the PBEM format. There's a lot to learn and experiment with in this game, but ultimately it's just plain fun to watch an army of 60 blessed knights tear into 200 enemy archers and unleash unholy carnage.

I got the game during the beta on itch.io, and I'm really pleased with how it turned out! The art is fantastic and highly stylized, the music is good, and I really like the way the follower cards work. Letting your followers die in combat has real repercussions, and makes you really think about battle strategies (as opposed to games where cards just represent abstract attacks, and you can sacrifice them at will with no problems). I recommend this game if you enjoy deck building games. Also, I've seen some reviews that say that the game is too hard, but it has multiple difficulty settings, so that really isn't a problem. Also the ability to unlock different prophets and starting caravans, and getting to mix and match them, is really cool!

Very fun. If you like deckbuilding there's a lot here to go on. The biweekly releases are significant and contribute a lot to the game. A good game to play for about an hour every day.

This is one of the best video games ever made.
