The spooky-ness level drops off about 60-70% of the way through, but the game is gorgeous and very good, and doesn't overstay its welcome. Some people might think it's too short, but I think it's a good length. Took me 8 hours to beat. I'd say it's worth getting for the opening 2-3 hours alone, which are just superb.

Insanely fun with friends. I wouldn't bother playing it solo.

It's pretty fun! If you're craving more combat-focused 5e experience, this game is a good, middle price option. Classes are limited to Fighter/Ranger/Rogue/Wizard/Cleric/Paladin and Races are Dwarf/Half-Elf/Elf/Halfing/Human, but it feels solid and isn't bogged down with excessive dialogue. Obviously it's lower production value than BG3, but it has its own charms, and is worth a buy for 5e lovers.

Cute and fun little game. As a warning though, if you live near SF, Seattle, or NYC, this game will make you mad with how accurate it is.

The pacing is great. You have 9 meaningful fights each run instead of games like Slay the Spire where you have to get through a bunch of boring random encounters before the more interesting boss battles. There are tons of cards, and the 3 level mechanic is very satisfying. I'd definitely recommend it if you like deck building games.

This game is hard and unforgiving, and some of the mechanics are not thoroughly explained, but once you get the hang of it this game is very fun and the characters and story are engaging. If you have an itch for the exploration/combat side of TTRPG's, this game can really fill the void.

Complicated enough to give you tons to do, but simple enough that you always want to do one more turn.

It's Warband with immense quality of life improvements. I am enjoying it a lot, and they clearly plan on sticking with development and releasing updates. Would definitely recommend!
