I asked my dad for Baldur's Gate 3 but he got me this instead, and said it was a fun and wholesome adventure.

Dad...why did you lie to me?

Now I have crippling depression and an addiction to Rain's feet.
10/10 would recommend.

Jokes aside: After finishing every route, this VN is phenomenal. It was my first real exposure to the genre, and I'm really glad I played this game through, and stuck through the janky combat which eventually was really rewarding and fun, once you nail the mechanics (controls take a bit of time to get used to, but once you figure out combos there's a satisfying gameplay loop). Glad someone kept pushing me to play it, can't thank them enough.

I thought I was getting into tropey things, but the plot elements, characters and true ending were very satisfying. Really interesting take on the whole cyberpunk genre. Of course, some routes were a little bit weaker than others (didn't really enjoy the Nanoha route except for how it resolved), but overall as a full narrative, it's great. Never thought I'd put 100+ hours into a VN, but here we are. Will eventually get every other ending completed, but I almost don't want to due to some of the "good" endings kind of being a bit uh mind-bending.
