Game was made with a lot of heart and care. Hope the success encourages them to do remakes of the other Witchspring titles too.

Kuro/Daybreak took the best part of every Trails game from the past and refined it into the best the series has to offer. Not to mention a certain chapter ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). Despite being 11th in the series, it's a good entry point but provides plenty of throwback for oldies alike. The fan english patch works flawlessly and those guys are working tirelessly on Kuro II as well if the wait for NISA is a bit too much.

It has been awhile since I've been so engrossed in a VN. Making*Lovers does the genre of rom-com justice beyond what I was prepared. It entwines the two so rhythmically that if I had a complaint, it'd be too many H scenes. Crazy right? That's just how comical and heartwarming the stories are-- that I wanted more of it than the naughty naughtys.

Pros: working class heroines, writing, art style, voice acting, unique stories, no harem
Cons: some supporting characters don't have a sprite

Steep learning curve but when it *clicks*, all the gears start turning. Long live turn-based games.
