If you enjoy games like "Layers of Fear" or "S.O.M.A" then this game is worth checking out!

It's set in a futuristic, cyberpunk, post-apocalyptic environment where you play as a detective, a.k.a observer, where you have to use your ability to hack into people's minds and fears to find clues. It is heavily story-driven, some people would call it a walking simulator but the game shines with its incredible design/graphics and awesome soundtrack and fantastic level designs.

The atmosphere is reminiscent of "Blade Runner" but should not be played if you can't handle seizure-inducing visual effects. Play it if you are interested in a good story, great puzzles, and excellent voice acting. I recommend it if you're ready for a first person psychedelic horror walking simulator game. :)

I've made it past the 1200 hours mark and I think Im qualified enough to leave a decent review.
Paladins is a great game with a small and growing community. This game is not perfect, don't expect it to be especially because it's still in "BETA". People Like to compare it to the big O, sure there are some similarities but this game is a completely different experience. It has more MOBA elements to it; loadouts, mounts and the credit system are what makes this game versatile and more complex. It has a great selection of "Champions" and i'm sure you'll find someone that'll match your playstyle.
I will List down the pros on cons that makes me hate/love this game.

Pros:
+Community - the community is smaller compared to its big brothers but this community is tight-knit and less toxic. You can see how the community support each other especially on twitch. The Paladins Twitch account periodically hosts smaller streamers but they host a lot of the bigger streamers a lot of times, they need to switch it up soon.

+Timely Update - currently, they are releasing updates once every 2 weeks. That is very impressive to me. They listen to the players and they make sure updates are pushed on time.

+It's Effing FREE! - If that's not enough reason for you to give this one a try , i don't what would convince you. I mean you have nothing to lose! I honestly think this is the reason why this game is getting so much hate from the other community. It hurts their ego that people are actually enjoying a free-to-play game.

+Optimization - Paladins itself is a small file and can run on a potato! this makes it very stream-friendly and also wallet-friendly ;)

+Loot - you get free in-game stuff everytime you login and when you refer friends. You also get a chance to get ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, weapons and crystals if you watch the Official Paladins Streams on Twitch. You dont have to spend a dime you can unlock a lot stuff. More stuff at their website.

Cons:
-Servers & Downtime - As much as I love this game, HiRez Servers are probably the worst game servers i've personally encountered. The amount of down time in this game because of server issues is disgusting. Don't even get me started on the drop hacks. By the way SEA servers are still messed up, first game you get 90ping, next game you get 400ping. It's been months and still not fixed

-Achievements - I wish they'd be more creative with their achievements. Add in some Challenging ones. Well as of OB60 they added more achievements in the game. Kudos to the devs

-Matchmaking - matchmaking as of the moment is... crap. I have reached level 200+ and I sometimes get paired with/matched against people below level 20 and it's frustrating. People who are still new and clueless about the game. I'm sure they're working on improving this.

-Yo-yo Nerfing - Yes the updates are timely but hirez has a habit of "fixing characters" that are not broken. This patch he's nerfed, next update she's buffed. It can be a little discouraging sometimes.

-Grind - If you hate grind then this game may not be for you. It's not an easy grind especially if you dont have the Founder's Pack. You have to do a little grinding to unlock all cards and champions. This could be a little overwhelming for new players but playing with friends can help it make easier. You get extra XP and gold when u play with friends

-EAC - Easy Anti-cheat. where do i begin?... this software is a little controversial so im gonna leave it at that. Im sure other reviews have talked about this in depth

For a free-to-play beta game, Paladins has a lot of content and still has tons of potential. They are slowly adding lore and integrating nice story to some of the characters. New awesome skins and weapons that you can mix and match. If you really want to make the most out of this game, I say play with an open mind and stop comparing everything to other games, only then you will see its own beauty.

The John Wick Heists DLC is a pretty decent DLC. I purchased it not expecting much so I am not disappointed. However, this DLC is far from perfect and justifying the full price would be challenging. There are obviously pros and cons to this DLC. here's the breakdown:

Heists/Maps
This DLC contains 2 beautiful maps; Brookyln 10-10 (Loud Only) and the Yacht Heist (Stealth Only). Both are great maps and are well-designed.
Brooklyn 10-10 is good but it felt short and lacked some action. Ill give it a 6.5/10
Yacht Heist is a beautiful map, great detail, great soundtrack, a challenging stealth heist but not completely impossible to complete. I'll give it 8.5/10

Weapons
It comes with 2 new weapons, A sniper Rifle and a new Melee Weapon.
-Contractor .308 sniper rifle is a cool weapon and one of the highlights of this DLC. Fast reload, great customizability, nice ammo count, good concealment and a decent damage. It's a great Sniper Rifle. 9/10
-The Hook is meh. I think it's just a filler, just to have something else included in the mix. 2/10

Masks/Materials/Patterns
I like the masks and the materials, not really crazy about the patterns. 8/10

Achievements
12 new achievements were added to the game with this DLC. All of them are achievable even without owning the DLC. So if you are an achievement hunter and is hesitant to buy this, I suggest to first play with players who have this DLC and see if you feel like buying it. I wish they added more challenging and creative achievements, but they are a welcome addition, i'm not mad.

All in all I think it's a cool DLC. Is it worth the full price? that's debatable. Personally, I'd suggest you wait for a sale, play with other DLC owners. The Soundtrack is beautiful and befitting the heists, you can always count on that. There are a few bugs here and there but nothing game-breaking. If you hype yourself then you will be disappointed. It is not a bad DLC, I've seen worse, I just don't think the total stuff you're getting is worth the full price.

With its current state, I do not recommend this game. I understand it's pre-alpha, and im sure optimization updates are on the roadmap but the moment you ask for our money, expect us to expect at least a playable game. The game is just not optimized, no graphic settings even. The controls and Interface need improving, also a guide when you start would be cool too (confusing when you first start). Don't get me wrong, this game looks amazing and has great potential, I just want to warn people who are looking to invest in a game, purchase at your own risk. I want to love this game, but I can't right now... I just.. can't...

Anyways, I wish the dev team all the best and I hope to get back to this game in the future and reconsider this review.

I know this game is supposed to be nostalgic but it looks like a straight up port of an old Java Game (from old nokia phones). The layout and Interface is confusing, the use of the screen space is just a big miss. The gameplay is too easy and repetitive it gets really boring after a few minutes of playing. There's really nothing much to talk about this game. Overall I wouldn't recommend this game, There are better games out there that will give you a true sense of nostalgia and enjoyment at the same time.

This DLC is a pyromaniac's dream, It's so powerful it shouldn't even be legal. The weapons on this pack remind me of Team Fortress 2; the grenade launcher (demoman) and flamethrower (pyro) can instantly kill enemies, perfect for exterminating Dozers and oh that Molotov is wonderful! The patterns, masks, and achievements are just added bonus, I think it's worth the price. This DLC however, if used by the idiots of the interwebs, can easily ruin a game. There will be trolls who will spam the heist with grenade and fire, who will burn civilians to death, who will throw molotovs at the escape van and think it's cool. Overall, I would highly recommend this pack to new and RESPONSIBLE players.

10/10

P.S: Blowing a Meth Lab doesn't require this DLC

950+ Hours and counting.
This sequel is #1 on my list of Recommended Games. The Left 4 Dead Series is an instant classic, released 7 years ago and it still holds up. Play alone or play with your friends (or strangers), you will enjoy this game for countless hours. L4D2 is an improvement to an already fantastic and entertaining game. Make new friends, or lose some, the game focuses on cooperative gameplay that will teach you how to be patient and make you a great team player. You can download new maps and customize the whole game with mods from the workshop. This is the Best Zombie Co-op game ever!

Here are some pros:
+Easy mechanics, no boring storyline
+Community is alive and well (90% of the people on my friends list are from this game).
+Endless mods on the Workshop. It's like walking into a grocery store.
+Funny and witty Character Lines.
+Melee Weapons
+More Blood
+New Survivors, New Campaigns, New Zombies.
+Achievements that you will enjoy hunting for.
+Cool Easter Eggs and Movie references.
+Random jump scares every once in a while.
+Boomer is still Ugly

I only have one Con though:
-GOOD GUY NICK!!!
*update: Good Guy Nick is finally achievable again during the spring cleaning event on steam 2018. I have completed all achievements after years of waiting for a free weekend for this game.

10/10 Would kill all sons-a-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ again!

Update:
Today marks my 1,000th hour playing this game. Not much, I know, but I want to update my review and voice out my opinion about my love-hate relationship with Team fortress 2.

The Smissmas update was a step at the right direction.Players now have the ability to vote for the next map, this means they no longer have to find a new queue after the match is done. Gone are the days where you have to wait in line after a match is finished, a problematic system introduced in the MYM update. Imagine getting in a match that just ended, you have to wait to be queued again, stressful! Thank god this is not the case anymore, thanks Valve!

The new autobalance mechanics, although sounding good on paper, is not really effective in practice. It rewards people extra XP if they voluntary move to an unbalanced team, something that I dont see happen much. There is not much addition with this update, but im not mad. I think it's a great update, although it can be improved, it is appreciated.

I am hopeful for the future, I think Valve is finally listening and I hope the pyro update brings more good changes.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I heard a patch/update is in the works to fix the bugs and unfortunate decisions Valve made on the MYM update. For now, since the game is unplayable on my end, I'm gonna leave it a thumbs down. Come on Valve! Let's Make TF2 great again!
