Starts off like a casual, carefree EarthBound thing, leaves you in tears.

Cyberpunk 2077 is, without a doubt, a good game. It's definitely not a masterpiece, but it should not be regarded as bad.

The graphics are obviously top-notch, the world design is simply incredible and the gameplay is satisfying. Not to mention the soundtrack, which is beautifully crafted and adds a lot to the immersion. The game is still obviously riddled with bugs here and there, but I found they do not ruin the experience at all and 90% of the time they were just things to laugh at. Only once did they impede progress during one side mission, which was fixed by reloading an earlier save.

I felt however, despite my first playthrough lasting around 90 hours and having completed probably all side jobs there were, that the ending was kind of abrupt and there wasn't too much to do in Night City other than just exploring or strolling around, various jobs, gigs or pressing F in front of random citizens and having them say one of like 30-ish possible things. Granted, these things were very fun and immersive for me, but having more activities, more options with romance (like inviting a character over for a mission after completing their storyline, for example ( excluding the final quest )) or more incentives to just get lost in the city would be extremely beneficial.

If you have any doubts whether to try this game or not, you should definitely give it a go and see for yourself. Going in blind helps a lot.

I was a bit worried after seeing all the negative Steam reviews of this game. But I'd say you do not need to worry at all.

The game runs quite smoothly (stable 20-30 FPS, which is very acceptable for a flight sim) on my mid-range rig (i5-7600, 1060 3GB, 16 GB RAM) on High settings. I had to knock down the terrain and object level of detail to reduce stuttering, but despite that the game still looks really good.

The installation process took quite a long time for me (over 7 hours, installing on a HDD), but that's to be expected seeing how popular this game got and how the hug of death impacted MS servers.

Having said that, there are a few critical issues regarding the game. The autopilot seems to be borked - it was unable to hold altitude and speed, despite the autopilot and specific attitude settings being enabled. Also, while flying IFR the ATC was unable to navigate me to a landing approach, having me drifted from my destination by quite a distance. Maybe I did something wrong? It worked really well in FSX, and I followed pretty much the same steps I took in that game.

There's a lot of room for improvement in this sim, and I hope Asobo fixes the critical issues soon. Still, having flown in FSX for over 300 hours, I think this is a major improvement over the older MS flight sims and a very enjoyable experience.

Factorio is one of those games which pin you to your chair so bad that you have to get a rocket out to finish your gaming session.

Seriously though, it's an extremely well written game, which focuses on sheer performance. I have never noticed any performance issues, even with a whole endgame factory where there's a lot of sprites to render. It's a great piece of tech.

Gameplay wise, it's a fair balance between calm, sandboxy factory building and sometimes stressful combat with aliens, who munch down on your creation. With Factorio's circuit network mechanics you can build very complicated application-specific, as well as universal circuits, comparable to Minecraft's Redstone mechanic - just a bit more intricate. The cool part of building factories is actually optimizing its production capabilities - it's extremely satisfying to see your factory use its resources perfectly.

Overall, it's a great game to invest a lot of time in. It doesn't have a steep learning curve, offers plenty of tutorials to better your skills, and there's a huge community of experienced players out there.

Get it.

What a game. What an awesome game.

This is probably the best Metroidvania out there. You play as a little, cute character and explore a huge, cavernous world of bugs, strong monsters and various platforming challenges. The atmosphere is perfect, with ambient music, lots of parallax and detailed levels. It's been long since I've seen this level of detail in a video game.

The controls feel great and responsive, and combat is satisfying. You just feel the need to continuously press against bosses and deal damage, even though you sometimes need to avoid attacks or heal during a stagger. Although I still feel bad after I Dream Nailed Marissa, when I wanted to look into her mind. Turns out ghosts don't like to be Dream Nailed.

I could write an entire essay about why the music of Hollow Knight is great. Christopher Larkin did an incredible job in scoring the game. Some tracks are beautiful, some are intense, and some are melancholic or peaceful. It starts off with relatively calm, ambient music and as you progress into the game, orchestral instruments take over and add intensity to the mix. Area BGMs are layered, too, which contributes to the amazing atmosphere of the game. It's a shame not every track is included in the official soundtrack, though.

This is also a great game to speedrun. I actually picked it up after I saw some of it on AGDQ 2019. After playing it for a while, I did notice its potential for speedrunning, and would totally recommend it to speedrunners. Not to mention, this is a difficult game and one can take many tries to defeat bosses. There's many endings to get, too.
(It actually took me over 2 hours to defeat the Traitor Lord, but I beat the true final boss in less than an hour.)

So, final note: it's a great game. It's a masterpiece. Buy it. It's dirt cheap for such a polished, extensive and well-made game. I had lots of fun exploring the caves of Hallownest, and uncovering all of their secrets. I can't wait for Silksong.

This is probably one of the best games ever made. It's never boring and always makes you want to progress. The story is well-crafted and the soundtrack is just plain awesome. And it still looks good 7 years later. And I keep replaying it every now and again even though I know all the solutions already.

I demand a sequel, even though GLaDOS just gave up at the end.

I keep dying. But it's fun.

Before you question the time I spent playing VVVVVV, there's a level editor in the game. Yeah, that's why.
