It's a good game and perfectly playable, however, on mac, when you try and play with a controller as a single player, the controller ends up being registered as a co-op and you end up controlling two characters with one controller. I have tried to rectify it, but no luck. This issue does not happen when you use the keyboard so, I have to play solely with my Mac keyboard if I play as a single player. If you don't mind this, go ahead and buy it. If this is a big turn off, I would say don't buy this game just in case.
UPDATE: Problem only seems to occur for the first level. The free roam and in-between stuff works with a controller
