Skate 3 + Great Humor + Zombies = lotta fun

To preface this potentially massive post, I want to start off by saying that this is a very fun party game. If you just want to find a game to play with your friends a couple of times, then you'll likely have a blast! The visuals and art are very well done, and it's truly a very visually beautiful game with a lot of depth to it. If you REALLY like it though (like me) and try to actually improve at the game, then you'll run into a lot of issues. This game is a piece of flaming garbage, and no infant in the discord will convince me otherwise. Here's why:

List of Grievance:
1. You can't choose your matchmaking region. If you want to play on NAE servers, you have a several hour long window beginning at 10pm. Good luck communicating with your other survivors in voice chat, they probably don't even speak english if you play at other times of the day.

2. The game tells you next to absolutely nothing. If you want to actually learn about the game the best way is to join the discord server and ask a veteran for tips and tricks that the game will never, EVER explicitly tell you. This makes actually learning the game a nearly insurmountable obstacle for new players especially.

3. The bugs, dear god the bugs. The game's been out for over a year, and it just doesn't work properly. Even the few things that the game does make clear, the absolute basics, have bugs.

4. Most of the systems in the game are ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and rushed and poorly implemented. The challenge system is kind of a joke, and if you want a certain skin good luck. It's complete RNG which skin you get and you can get duplicates which give you nothing of real value so you can roll infinitely and never get the one skin you want. I still don't even have the one skin I actually want even tho I've been playing this garbage since launch.

5. The community. The main hub I've discovered for this game is its discord server. It's overrun with newer players, and my god do they have the most awful, horrendous, smooth-brained opinions about the game I have ever witnessed in my entire life. There's no requirements for leaving feedback in the feedback channel, either, so even tho I've been playing since launch my opinions get shot down by people who have been playing for like literally a week. Fun times. Seriously, though, I CANNOT overstate just how mind-numbingly stupid the average person in the discord server seems to be like they are seriously inept, and the hivemind seems to have the worst possible, least thought-out ideas I have ever encountered before in any gaming community. I am convinced the average age is literally 10 years old, they just like don't even have a basic conceptualization of what would make the game better. It's infurating.

6. The dev team. I know it's a small team, and I really do appreciate the work they put into this game. That being said, they change the entire game radically every few weeks in a desperate attempt to 'save' the game from dying, so nothing ever gets actually improved, just swapped around. The game isn't any better than it was a year ago when I started playing, it's just as broken and buggy it's just like literally a different video game now.

That pretty much sums it up for now, I'm very tired and don't really have the energy to expand any further.

TL;DR: Great casual game with friends, one of the worst video games ever conceived of for anyone actually trying to play seriously or improve or even just play solo cause 9/10 times your teammates don't know anything about the game.

I can't get past the first stage. What you have to do in the beginning is very unintuitive as well. My biggest complaints though, by far, are that there isn't any way to turn off vsync or get more than 30 fps! Combining that with the low visibility in the game, and you can't see ♥♥♥♥ and the movement just feels.. so wrong. It's like bendy and the ink machine, but far worse and free.

Honestly I feel bad rating this game so critically, I can see how it might end up being a lot of fun. In it's current state, though... i just can't even play through it.



Pls, if nothing else, make it so that I can:
-turn off vsync
-have at least 60 fps
-progress in the game in an intuitive way
