TLDR; I recommend the game to space and science fiction fans, those that like a deep atmosphere and those that like unusual approaches to gaming. But buy it on sale.

Full Review:

Almost like an interactive movie, but produced with computer graphics instead of live action actors and full-blown sets (which would probably have been hellishly expensive in this game). On the subject of graphics, they are very well done. The game looks and sounds very authentic according to the video footage I've seen from aboard the real life ISS. Just like the ISS, there are American/European, Russian, and Chinese wings of the station, each with their own distinct styles.

The game is also unusual in that you don't control a human character, instead playing the role of the station AI, who is responsible for looking after station functions and ensuring the survival of the station crew. Unfortunately, without spoiling too much, at the start of the game, you learn that the station has had some kind of accident and most of your functions are offline and your memory corrupted (isn't it always!). You gradually have to restore your functions and memory of events prior to the incident as the game progresses, working together with one of the crew members. In function, it reminds me very much of an old game called "Experience 112" or "The Experiment" by French Developer Lexis Numérique (now defunct) which was set aboard an derelict boat after an accident and you played someone sat in a control room somewhere helping the sole survivor navigate the dangerous environment, following her around using video camera feeds and activating certain functions... Very similar to this.

The story is... weird! I don't think it will get any medals or anything, there are a few clichés, but it works well with the graphics and sound to produce the overall atmosphere, which is important in this genre and I cannot fault it here.

I've seen this described as a horror, but maybe that is a little misleading. There are absolutely no jump scares and I did not feel tense all the time like I do in say, Amnesia. There is a sense of dread right from the start, due to the situation on board, but I feel this is more of a game of intrigue than horror. I did feel compelled to try and work out exactly what had occurred.

Is it worth full price? I think nearly £20 is quite steep as it is very short and once you've seen the ending, there is no replay value, so think about picking it up on sale. Overall though, if you like space, and science fiction that is quite well grounded in reality, I think you would enjoy the game.
