As the latest generation of the franchise, this game provides an extraordinary gameplay, gruesome fatalities that are visceral, and most importantly; Tanya as DLC. I've been playing this game on PS4 and PC, and I can't stop playing because the game's mechanics are more than great for me.
I like the variation system, despite the fact that some people don't agree with me because of the difficulties about balancing characters, however I believe that the variation system is one of the fundamental things that makes the game fun.
On the other hand, the Kombat Packs are both okay (Tanya was enough for me already :P ) , the only thing I could say about this matter would be the plethora of the guest characters except Alien and Predator ( 2 per dlc pack, which I find a bit too many when I think of the people who were asking for real MK characters ). If you are already a fan of this franchise, don't waste your time and buy the game, when the Summer sale or Christmas sale starts.
