I believe the following method should work:
1. Only enable the Alternative Materials addon (Have the DAGR addon disabled)
2. Load into onto a map to have the alternative textures load (not sure if this step is mandatory)
3. Restart your game
4. Now enable the DAGR addon.

Once you've done this, the materials should be that of the alternative materials addon.
