A fantastic game that reminds me of the Persona games which I have always been a fan of! The game is great and is not overwhelming for new players, the story eases you into the game and the tutorials get accustomed with the game. The graphics are awesome and the soundtrack is one of the best of the year in my opinion. If you love JRPGs then you will love this game!

I have played this game since launch, and so far, I have had a great time. I have never spent so much time on a game before Ark and I don't regret it. Yes, there are problems with the optimisation and yes they could do more to try and iron that out, but it doesn't mar my enjoyment for the game. I have sunk over 550 hours into this game which I have never done before. I play PVE, and although I have tried PVP before I will likely stick to PVE as I enjoy it. Some pros and cons:

Pros
- Great survival game
- Base building is great quite comprehensive
- The dino setting is great - am looking forward to see where the story goes.
- Looks great overall (shame about the optimisation!)
- Regular content being added to the game which is nice

Cons
- Optimisation! This needs a lot of work
- The base building can be frustrating at times with problem with uneven, and not cropping correctly
- From what I have experienced PVP, this could use some work overall, I feel it can be bias to one set of groups, but I guess people put the time it to get there
- The servers are sometimes laggy to the point of not being able to play at stages, although this is improving.

Overall I would recommend this game if you like a good survival game with dinos and Base Building.

I look forward to see where this game goes over the years.
