It's a fun game, lots of love has been put in by the developers.
(They are also quite active and interactive on their discord.)

There's no micro-transactions, nor plans to implement them.
The gameplay is fun and as simple or complex as you would like it to be.
If you enjoy stuff like Slay the Spire, then give it a shot. It's quite similar, but the classes are based on gods from the Greek, Norse, Egyptian and Aztec pantheons. You unlock them through a randomized system using the in-game currencies, and you can level and enhance them.

Also, the art is really good. Makes a lot of the game work. (Good job, Wen~)

Amazing music, combat and art. Story is looking alright also, I'm looking forward to the full release.

Don't listen to me though, I haven't played it that much.

I liked it. Felt like a natural expansion to a great game. More bosses, more areas, more guns, more traits, more armor and more story. There's some closure that the base game didn't deliver on and a ton of lore that I loved reading through.

People are complaining about it being small but I think its a very good amount of content for $15AUD, especially considering they have never asked for money in micro-transactions.

Nice short little game. Ball direction seems intuitive and easy to use.
Hopefully they add a level editor to give the game a lot more life, as I finished every level with max stars in the 66 minutes I've played, but I enjoyed them.
