Extremely good. The sound design keeps the creepy tension from start to finish. Great survival-horror gameplay with an intriguing story.

Dragon's Dogma 2 is an absolute blast. The combat is exhilarating, the skill system is simple yet offers a lot of options for each class. Creature encounters are dynamic and fun. This game does not hold your hand, and when you figure things out on your own there is a great sense of adventure and discovery.

I would not have known about the microtransactions if the backlash wasn't so loud. While it is an extremely strange addition to the game, it has been easy to obtain runes for pawns, traveling stones, and there are cheap in game options that use gold for fast travelling. This game is fully loaded with content, and you will not need too spend more than the price tag.

The performance for me is great and stable most of the time, however, I am playing on an OLED TV at 60fps so I can''t speak for higher frame rate targets. I only notice frame drops when I am in towns, which I do hope is improved. (RTX 4080, 12700k, 32gb RAM)

The graphics when maxed out are beautiful. DD2 is extremely immersive and I hope it will be regarded as the great RPG that it is, rather than the forced microtransactions which almost aren't worth talking about.

I liked this game a lot. The flow of conversation feels natural and the characters feel alive. Frustrating at a couple points when you need to back track semi far but other than that this is a really solid game that won't waste your time.

I'll probably return to it in the future to try out some other dialogue options.

Better than 7 as a whole, except that it is a deviation from Survival Horror in favor of more action similar to RE4. Unlike RE4 it doesn't stick the landing in every aspect but it has a lot to like. I appreciate the edition of a 3rd Person mode even if it half baked. It takes a lot of things from previous games in the series but still feels like it has it's own identity for better or worse.

Ethan is easily the worst protagonist in the series. The story is ok, but I am not really into the whole mythological side of things even if they try to tie it into Umbrella. Still, Village is a solid entry that most people will enjoy.

Helldivers 2 is a ton of high octane action and great cooperative gameplay. It runs well, has a great gameplay loop, robots, and bugs. Highly recommend!

I think the first half of this game is great and nails the survival horror. However, the second half seems to lose it's focus and momentum. The monsters in this are much less interesting than other RE games, and don't remain scary after a while. However, the sound design, overall gameplay and story is pretty good.

This feels like it wasn't really meant to be a Resident Evil game. The puzzles are fun but much less interesting and engaging than puzzles from other RE games. After the beginning, ammo is very easily crafted and found and I never felt like I was having to make decisions on fighting or running. It's a good horror game but not a good resident evil game. It does well to keep tension up throughout the game, even if the tension is easily lost when you are always equipped for battle. I know this complaint can be fixed by playing higher difficulties, but you can only play Normal on your first playthrough. IMO I don't feel it is worth replaying, at least right now.

Still, worth playing if you're a fan of survival horror or Resident Evil. Even if the connection to the rest of the series is barely there.
