Hello Fellow gamers,

I hope i can help you out on deciding if it is worth to get Deceit or not with some experience of mine. (even if its not a lot of hours that i have played this game - and this is just my personal opinion - no offense taken ).

Starting the Game is really fun and exciting. The idea of the game is really promising and even when i played, it was kind of fun and a nice way to get some time going. I like the Game for what it is but unfortunately have to say that i would not recommend this game to anyone that is getting annoyed quickly on people not taking their time to think properly or having 2 minute games because a group of friends, that sign up together for the game, are outvoting you instantly.

Deceit relies heavily on communication and observation as well as if you are willing to trust someone that might be lying to you just to save his own reputation of being '' innocent'' - he might as well not be innocent and just accuse someone else.

The problem that i see with this game is, that the majority of people in this game ( as far as i have met and i can tell) do not try to take their time. I played until level 10 so i can start the Ranked games in hopes of the games being taken a bit more serious and '' professional'' - just to find out it is the same as playing casual.

People most of the time don't think twice but just outvote you, since there is no real penalty for doing so. Even when both infected are dead, people tend to Lethal Inject you ( a syringe that kills whoever is the victim - can only be undone with an Antidote) in the 3rd stage - just for fun and some extra XP - most of the time in front of the exit.

Now that lying is a part of this game because Deceit wants you to be paranoid about your fellow mates and make you question what they are doing and saying, things can get tricky and more difficult.
This is where we come to one of the most annoying things in Deceit that i have experienced.

Premades! Be aware that people can sign up together for a game and it does not matter how many people sign up. You can play this game with your friends up to a maximum of 6 players. ( 2 Infected - 4 Innocents). Where is the Problem? Well.. Premades ( depending on the amount of players you bring with you) don't necessarily play in the same team. Ghosting over TS, Discord, Skype or other Platforms is possible!!! Most of the time they outvote everyone outside of their little Gang, be it innocents or Infecteds, as well as killing or downing you for fun and items. ( Don't you dare get close to that Camera that might save you from an Infected - if they want it, they will get it or none of you will.)
Sexism, Racism and more in the '' in-game-voicechat'' are not uncommon especially if you play the character ''Lisa'' who happens to be a darker skinned woman with black curled 'afro' hair.
There is whatsoever a Report-Button at the end, but it seems like 4/5 games you have to deal with at least one of those things.

Get ready to be spam-killed if 2 or more people in the game don't like you - cause they simply have no other goal than to destroy the fun for others.


All in all.. the game itself would be really fun if the community playing it - wouldn't ruin it for those that actually do want to take the game a bit more serious.


This is my experience with the Game and its' community and I am well aware that other people might disagree with what I am saying.

I do hope that i could help some of you on deciding whether or not it is worth to get this game and put effort and nerves into it.
