Best current gacha game.
-best combat
-large open world.
-main plot that actually grabs your interest
-not over saturated with endless/pointless filler.
-very generous rewards in quests, events and for new players.
-luck on character pulls far superior from all gachas
-gathering level up materials isn't as massive of a grind fest

Steam only says 50 hrs but I was playing on the original launcher. Likely over 1000 hrs
It's free so no harm trying it. Any financial choices are on you.

Over a year extension on the release of this game and it is the most linear piece of garbage I've ever seen. Open world my ass. You walk 5 feet away from you current objective, you fail and it teleports you back to your last save point. Spend most of your time accomplishing nothing and seeing nothing.

This was a decent visual novel. Oh it's a JRPG? Weird, I thought I was watching an anime the whole time. Your usual tropee fantasy anime with semi cringe writing and endless innuendos(in a game with an age12 rating), scads of plot holes, unexplained questions and an abrupt ending. Like your usual fantasy anime.

That being said, the game was still enjoyable to play and the characters were likeable enough. Not much of an open world that I'd like to see RPG's get back to but less linear then some new RPGs. New game+ as usual with most Bandai games, although I don't really feel much need for it in this game. The story and outcome with just be 100% the same. Nothing like Code Vein where you have multiple different endings or FF7 where conversation choice can actually effect future events. Tales of Arise is quite fixed with it's story and doesn't let you do much other then follow a pre-determined path. They use different types of animation which I found weird, I didn't like it. Almost seemed like they were trying to save money by hand drawing half the cut scenes and only using CG during basic conversation scenes.

Story wasn't quite as good and fleshed out as other tales games like Berseria but the combat was more enjoyable I'd say. But way too much end game boss grinding. Still worth a purchase and play if on sale. Not sure I'd pay the full price for it. No real DLC's either, just a several outfit sets(mostly un-interesting) and pay to win crap lol.

Great story, characters, and character customization(for your character anyway, not so much for your companions). I really enjoyed this game as difficult as it was with some of the boss fights. Game is pretty solid aside from the one menu freezing glitch that happens on one particular screen that they never really seemed to do anything about. And although they have been slowly adding the odd thing or minor DLC, the game is extremely lacking in end game content. The only really thing you have to look forward to, is replaying the game a minimum of 4 times if you want to get all of your blood code builds or achievements. Although I did still spend a few hundred hours playing it, I still feel there's a few things they could've included or added that would make so much better then it already was. I would still say the game is well worth a play through. But can't say I would pay the full price of 80 dollars. I'd wait until it's on sale for at least 50% off. It just doesn't have the end game or replay value that they may think it does. I even found myself spending more time altering and changing the appearance of my character more then anything.

Extremely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ flawed DLC logic they have. What use are additional outfits when you dont even get them until after your sick of the game because you have to play it so damn much to point of wearing yourself out before you even unlock them. Were you guys trying to think up ways that you could best piss off your paying customers?

Is about what you'd expect from a 12 dollar DLC. New depths map with slightly increased difficulty from the old ones. New boss which definitely proves to be challenging when compared to bosses in the game. Although after several attempts, you'll notice his movements are more predictable then other bosses in the game. The main challenge is killing him as fast as you can while avoiding being hit, as he has more life then other bosses and hits much harder. It gives plenty of different rewards, which unfortunately can only be obtained by farming the boss over and over, using either IO or Louis or using different weapons etc... to earn different rewards when fighting the boss.

I also wouldn't listen to most reviewers for anything honestly either. If anything, the reviews of the Season pass should serve to prove the lack of intelligence of people who write them. Literally nothing even in the Season pass yet but an uglier outfit for Mia with her having pink instead of white panties. Mostly positive reviews. Hellfire knight, actually adds stuff to the game and get's mostly negative reviews.... lol
