I've actually finished this game on PS4 but since "Dishonored" is easily my favorite game series, here we go:

This game not only lives up to its predecessor but also surpasses it in terms of the following: the game mechanics are smoother, the new abilities are touched up and upgraded on from the first game. Speaking of, and I cannot stress this enough: I L O V E that the devs gave Emily and Corvo 2 distinct playstyles and abilities DESPITE both of them receiving the same mark. Each of them can do different things in different ways and I L O V E that because not only do I get to play multiple times with one character, but then I can switch around and replay the game again while it feels brand new.

Emily was my first playthrough and I really enjoyed her powers, her character and just everything about it. Got to respect a woman who fights for whats hers. Playing with Corvo felt like reuniting with an old friend, which is exactly what sequels should feel like. The same goes for Sokolov.

While a lot of the narrative follows a very similar vein to the first game, it's nevertheless interesting and immersing and so damn fun!
