If you enjoy RPGs, it's a no-brainer. Approachable gameplay, great storytelling, and lovable characters. Almost 200 hours spent across a few campaigns, and I still find new things I hadn't experienced before. Tons of ways to approach the various scenarios throughout the campaign, and almost never really a wrong answer. Easy recommend, 10/10 game.

This game is a pure treat. I don't think I'll get as much time off it as games like Gorn and Blade & Sorcery, but what I am getting is incredible.

Campaign is about 7-9 hours long, arena is endlessly re-playable, and sandbox gives you a reason to go back through levels to look for secrets to unlock items to use. Light on story, heavy on incredibly solid game play.

The physics are insane. This game has some of the most consistent physics that make sense and are believable. I keep finding new ways to deal with problems upon replaying levels.

Solid VR legs recommended. If you aren't extremely comfortable in VR, this game might be difficult to play. Some will complain about the climbing mechanic, it can feel a bit wobbly and janky, it's a bit odd to get used to. I personally didn't have too much of an issue. This game works best when you pantomime a bit and really believe you are the character.

Lastly, the soundtrack is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing. I really, really love some of the music you get when solving puzzles in this game.

Great job on this game, Stress Level Zero. I really, really love the heavy Half-Life and Valve influence here. This game has ruined a lot of other VR games for me, just because it's so compelling. The feeling of presence is really exceptional to me.

GORN is probably my favorite VR game of all time. I've been invested in VR for roughly 5 years at this point, and this is the first title to always keep me coming back for more and more, to follow it's develop and progress from some of it's earliest public demos. This game rips. The concept is easy enough to understand, and I won't even say that it's particularly challenging, but this game just has a certain magic in the way it works that makes it incredibly addicting and easy to justify whipping out the HMD for. It is an absolute riot. I don't think this title necessarily needs someone to break every facet of it down. You kill goofy dudes with outrageous weapons in a big arena. Just play it. You'll see.

Ignore all of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reviews about firing their former employee. A company can definitely decide to fire an employee for their off the clock presence online or offline. If the company deems that someone affiliated with them could potentially damage their reputation/sales - then they should have every right to get rid of that person.

Now that that's out of the way, this game is amazing. Everything is awesome. The game is finally optimized (at least for me) and no longer runs like total turd. The difficulty curve feels very right. No more getting attacked a hundred times just because my cyclops engine was left on. Fauna has behaviors, and react accordingly to them. You can avoid certain aggressive species now just by understanding what makes them tick.
The graphics are gorgeous. While the game is definitely stylized, it's beautiful to look at. Whether you're in the safe shallows or deep enough where light no longer reaches, the game just looks wonderful. Seriously, great job guys.
I also really, really enjoy the story. Not even so much just the story itself, but rather how it's told. I won't go into too much detail there to avoid spoilers. Amount of playtime seems pretty great for a 25 dollar game, i'd say easily 12+ hours (I haven't actually finished it yet.)

Congrats on coming out of early access guys!
