Klasse Spiel

Neat little game

Solid game with a nice progression. For most levels you get the idea of the methods relatively quickly which makes solving the problems easier.

One thing I don't like is that some levels don't have sample tests. What I mean is that there are levels where you do not only fix the code but you also provide the inputs to generate the output. This in itself is not a problem and mostly quite enjoyable. However, some levels don't provide you with a sample input that is tested before your input. Hence, in these levels, you do not know if your inputs are the problem or maybe the code is just not right yet. This can be quite annoying since it makes those cases unnecessarily complex.
In my opinion, all levels should have at least one sample input, so you can check whether you got the code working and then in a second step you can actually provide the input for the remaining output.

Awesome game!

The game's general idea is really nice. It really has great potential. However, sadly, the game is ruined by technical problems.

First of all, you cannot change the mouse sensitivity. Kind of annoying but still bearable.
What's more annoying is that the movement, especially jumping, is a bit clunky. But again, that is something you get used to.

The real dealbreaker, however, is that the game does not catch your mouse. When you look around by moving your mouse, the cursor wanders off to a secondary screen. It does not matter whether you play windowed or not. If you click then, you click outside of the game hence the game loses focus. Super annoying and frustrating.

Good game

Der Einstieg war etwas verwirrend, da es keine Erklärungen gibt. Im Prinzip ist es aber eigentlich recht simpel: Die Sterne dürfen sich nicht berühren.

Ansonsten solides Spiel. Die Level werden anspruchsvoller, bleiben aber trotzdem gut lösbar. Etwas kurz, aber schon in Ordnung.

Wie schon die Vorgänger, ist auch The Room 4 ein klasse Spiel. Absolute Empfehlung, insbesondere für diejenigen, denen die ersten Teile bereits gefallen haben.
