Pike Eel super fact! The Pike Eel is found in numerous locations in the Indo-Pacific, including Australia! The avarage Pike eel grows to 5ft 11in. (1.8 meters!). They hunt at night, like underwater nosferatus! The are predatory, and are at times known to attack unwary fishermans/children who fall into their enclosures at aquariums. If you feel something nibbling at your ankles, it just might be a Pike Eel!

Here's a picture of one of the cute 'lil guys!: http://i.imgur.com/Lng6FYj.jpg

P.S: A female can lay over 4 million eggs per year. <To cancel eel facts, reply cancel>

The life span of an eel is about 85 years. Don't try cutting one open to count the rings though! <To cancel eel facts, reply cancel>

An eel is any fish belonging to the order Anguilliformes, which consists of four suborders, 20 families, 111 genera and about 800 species. That'd be one heck of a family reunion! <To cancel eel facts, reply cancel>
