As a fan of both management style games and MOBA's, this game is a very nice mix. There is a lot more to it than I initially thought there would be. Players grow, have their own champion pools and traits, there are multiple leagues you advance as you keep winning.

For the league games there is a pick & ban phase, which is really cool, there are patches that come out every month in the game that change up the ruleset ingame, brings new champions, rotates in new or returning items and changing up how many cards you can hold, what objective happens, who participates and when they happen. You get to have quite a bit of impact on the game with the card system and can pull of some cool plays if you plan accordingly.

The champions are really cool, a lot of them are inspired by other MOBA's but I can't say I really see that as a problem, the roster is quite big and there are a lot of synergies and combos you can pull off (Niels + Tiger Boy FTW).

There are some little bugs and translation issues and also as a tip I recommend starting on a difficulty higher than Normal mode, cause the AI I feel could be a bit harder to play against (it makes some questionable plays at times, AI pick and ban also could use some tweaking).

Overall there is nothing that should keep you from buying this fairly affordable game if you are into manager/strategy games or just really like MOBA's like LoL or Dota. You can dump quite a bit of time in this game.

Greed killed this game when it went f2p, every item in the store costs a new currency now only obtainable with actual real life money, crowns are converted to kudos, which you can only buy the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ items with, battlepass progression is slower than trying to load a GTA 5 loading screen without an SSD

absolutely pathetic

a culmination of fromsoft prior work, Elden Ring has an intriguing story filled with a great set of characters and very fun gameplay. i have never had the urge to get all achievements on a soulsborne game (outside of sekiro) but this game just had me invested from start to finish
