Matchmaking does not allow you to specify what mode you wanna play, servers are full of children who never shut up, server browser does not allow you to join actual matches, you have to use matchmaking. I really enjoyed playing the alpha and was excited to play the full game, but this has left a bad taste in my mouth, especially with the children who do not even sound old enough to play vr.

An excellent survival horror game. Scavenging is highly important and there's a lot of tension built into the game. The backpack solution is good, but a little finicky at times. Updates reset keybinds, settings menu looks atrocious, cannot turn off sunglare, attachments have to be unlocked on other guns before you can use them on the one you want them to be used on, requires you to accept 4 TOS's, go through 3 settings menus, a login screen, and updates before you're even in the game (it took me 10 minutes to even see a cutscene from launch). Visibility is absolutely atrocious, some guns fire so many bullets you cannot see who is shooting at you because of the smoke, multiplayer UI is horrid, game has to restart to play campaign, so if you want to play the campaign you have to launch it twice

After fifty more hours, the game continues to prove that it wants to be frustrating to play, and the only reason I continue to play it is because I spent the money on it

Good software, bad attempt at cash grab. The subscriptions reek of trying to cash in on the vtuber explosion we're currently seeing, and the "if you make this much you have to pay us more" has made a saddening return. Considering there are other softwares that do the same thing as this I can't recommend it. I personally will be moving to prprlive to avoid the subscription and microtransactions.

And to the dev who still thinks charging streamers more if they make more, you should really realize that if you make a product that's both good and consumer friendly, you actually will get free advertising, leading to more people downloading the software. With your current model, I see people recommending alternatives way more.

Base game was a fine, decently fun thing to play. Iceborne introduced several new mechanics that made very leery, most notably the clutch claw. Then the alatreon update. At this point I have killed him 5 times. I completely understand the fight, but that doesn't mean the fight is fun. The fight sucks, almost all of his attacks are rehashed from other monsters and you are punished for not using a specific play style (aggressive element). I main crit element bow, so this wasn't a problem for me in game, but is still a problem nonetheless. Capcom keeps giving things novas, and in the alatreon update, gave him a dps check or die nova. The game itself has devolved into a meta chasing speedrunner wet dream, and I want no part of it. I have been playing monster hunter for 10+ years, this is the least monster hunter feeling monster hunter I have played.

Matches don't load, sometimes works after a small work around.
Textures don't always load, though this is cut down in recent updates, still annoying.
Severe rubberbanding at match starts, this has gotten me killed multiple times.
Hits don't register. Shot a guy 3 times point blank in the head, didn't kill him. Shot a guy driving at me 6 or 7 times, didn't kill him.
Frame lag. My frames flucuate from 120 to below 30, this sometimes happens with me just standing still.
I have spent at least four and a half hours of my time trying to get the game to work properly. It's not at all ready for a full release and if I could, I'd get a refund.
