Veilguard is fun, mechanically well polished, and visually stunning but doesn't take a lot of risks. I enjoyed the variety of playstyles and items (even though you can't preview them before buying them!!!) but the dialog is clunky and some of the characters acting is amateurish.

Wait till the game is on sale and you'll have a good time if you skip the dialog.

I've paid a lot more for a lot less.

Rook sucks.

Like the Witcher 3 but your bow is a lot better.

Destiny 2 is fine.

The gun play is solid but repetitive. The characters are cool to look at but boring to listen to. The environments are creative but big and empty. The game is exactly what you'd expect.

You'll enjoy it and keep coming back to it but you won't love it.

A beautiful game with striking visual style, music, and writing. For those who still say games can't be art, show them this.

My only regret is that I waited so long to play it.
