Should clarify it was an entire game issue, not a map issue. Sound was broken coming and going in menu, game, priv lobby. Everything but microphone setup.
If it's only on your custom map, it's really weird, but seems like to me during initialization there's a code error or whatnot.

I sent an email to Gabe Newell with my DX Diagnostics and the problem was fixed within 2 weeks. Then my microphone was broken.
I built a new PC on the Z270 and then later X370 chipset and this didn't have the same problem.
