Probably the most deserving "Labor of Love" Steam Award. Simply amazing.

The more time that goes by the less I understand publishers like Activision. It seems that somewhere in the second decade of the 21st century we forgot that games were supposed to be fun, and somehow, someone thought it would be a good idea to put laser precise aiming bots and cross play together. I just wanted to have a little fun, to shoot some guns, instead I must deal with kids that probably don’t have parents to teach them not to be in front of a monitor 24/7 and bots that take less time to kill me than actual players. I'm a casual player and each time I have less games that I can play due to this absurdity. You can´t even make a proper skill-based matchmaking.

Santa Monica Studio basically nails on everything that pretty much every other modern game company fails to deliver: an old-school, hard-core, finished, amazingly optimized, bug-free, story and action packed, beautiful game. An improvement on the previous entries of the title, and yet manages to be respectful to its predecessors. All and all, a perfect game, I have no bad critics to come up with.

Ps.: Finally, a tremendously difficult boss that doesn't slow down the story progress, amazing, thank you!

Death stranding is the kind of game that will make your girlfriend think you have some serious psychological issues. I mean, it’s not everyday that you tell her you have a pet baby attached to your chest and run around making Ubber Eats deliveries on foot while fighting zombie dolphins and reconnecting a post apocalyptical America. Oh also, Conan O’Brien is there. The good news is, when you start to understand the story (and that only happens like, around episode 9, out of 15), you start to understand it’s a piece of art, worthy of an Oscar. Besides the story, the visuals are outstanding and the mechanics work amazingly. Death Stranding is a masterpiece and a complete different and refreshing take on gaming. That being said, it’s understandable that it may not be for everyone, but it doesn’t mean it's not excellent.
The Director’s cut comes as a great upgrade for the vanilla version of the game. Comes with a side story line, more standard orders and an amazing endgame – that being the races, the shooting range or the ranked nightmares. It took me +- 22 hours to finish the 5 newly added orders for Sam and the 40 standards, plus some races and shooting sessions. Overall, an amazing game.

It shouldn’t come as a surprise for everyone now that Ubisoft is probably the worst Triple A Games Company in existence. Starting with the fact for some idiotic reason they are the only ones that insist on making games stupendously demanding for the CPU in an era where graphics cards are incredibly powerful. There’s also the problem with their programing looking like it was written by 1st year college students that probably couldn’t even replicate a Tetris game. And the servers, what a ♥♥♥♥ show. And this is considering that the title you’re playing actually has dedicated servers because the majority are still jamming an outdated peer to peer connection.
Then, there’s the creative side of things, which is nonexistent. The Assassins Creed collection is suffering from the same problems as The Walking Dead – is boring as ♥♥♥♥ and it’s always the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing. It started interesting but come on! Just kill the cow already, for ♥♥♥♥’s sake, enough is enough! And Watch Dogs? Again, it started with an interesting story (the gameplay was ♥♥♥♥) but now it looks like a woke unicorn vomited on top of it! It somehow shifted from being about hackers and free will and now it’s about diversity and political correctness. What? You look like J.J. Abrams – you have interesting ideas, but you really can’t write a proper end to your stories, can you?
For Honor! Now this is probably the biggest failure that Ubisoft has in its collection, the lack of competition in this genre really shows on the quality of this game. In six years, we got only 1 new online game mode and then also got the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of an Arcade that punishes casual players for not spending 24/7 hours developing the skills of 40 years old virgin. Apart from that, the story campaign is probably the shortest I’ve ever experienced being desperate for something more. The balancing is ridiculous if present at all, and the heroes themselves are… well… boring (mostly). The heroes that have been added since launch are just cringe and far from realistic, I know it’s a game but come on. You have no real new content apart from the constant vomiting of season passes. In short, Ubisoft seriously need a change in management if it wants to keep competing.

CS:GO Review
This game gets trashier every year. How is that even possible? Updates are lazy, we still run on the same engine since 2012, and somehow, gunplay is even more unbalanced than it was 10 years ago! HOW?! How is it possible that a company that invented one of the most famous weapons of all time, doesnt understand ♥♥♥♥ about weapons.

I always uninstall this game, and I always forget why, so this time I'm going to write it down. In technical terms, the game is amazing, the mechanics are great, the physics check out and the visuals are awesome. Then why does it suck? Simples! It’s a competitive game with NO MATCHMAKING! Seriously, who the ♥♥♥♥ thought this would be a good idea? So, you managed to press the play button at the same time as SHROUD? ♥♥♥♥! I guess you’ll have to play against SHROUD, sucks to be you! I mean, who gives a ♥♥♥♥? This game is basically a middle finger for casual players. What? You’re not a forty-year-old virgin living in your mom’s basement? Then I guess you won’t have fun playing this game. So, in resume, you don’t have 12 hours a day to play this game? Then don’t even bother, you’ll be playing against people with 6000+ hours of game time, it’s not worth it.

Horizon Zero Dawn is on my top 5 games. But I can’t quite explain why. I can’t say if it’s the story, the mechanics or the world and character designs. I suppose it’s all that in harmony. I’m certain it isn’t the speaking animations as that is horrible. But what was I expecting? It’s an unreal engine game design primarily for PlayStation, you can’t expect much on graphic design I suppose. Seriously, that’s my only critic for this game. Why do you keep making next gen games and prioritizing consoles? Are you not ambitious? Do you not wish for your product to reach as high as it possibly can? Cyberpunk at least got that right. The fact is that I’m roaming through the map of Horizon contemplating its beauty and being emotional by the story, but still find myself distracted by the fact that there is something missing, a lack of complexity, somewhere, that I can’t quite put my finger on. Anyway, I guess that what I’m trying to say is that the game is amazing, but as a lot of potential to be even better.
