I dislike this game on principle, despite being one of my favourite games of all time. Honestly one of the worst ports I have ever played, if not the worst.

Here's some issues with it to list a few:

• Crashes after cutscenes
  
• Cutscenes run too fast on certain processors
  
• No mouse control in menu
  
• Still uses gamespy for multiplayer support (defunct, multiplayer cannot be played without use of Evole/Tunngle/LAN)
  
• Audio quality is awful on PC only. Console does not suffer audio compression issues
  
• Microstuttering
  
• Game may crash when using two monitors
  
• Awful lag when driving: Running an i5-2500 and a GTX770 2GB @1080p w/ 8GB of DDR3 ram and I get 40-60 FPS when driving with some lag spikes fully maxed out
  
• Graphics do not warrant performance issues
  
• Anything futher than ~6 feet in cutscenes is extremely pixelated
  
• Generally buggy
  
• No longer being officially supported/updated
  
  On the bright side, the game has a community behind it (still) trying to patch bugs and mod the game. It is also (still) my favourite Saints Row title, striking the balance between story and wackiness perfectly. If you have a decent computer, aren't afraid to drop the settings and spend time modding and fixing the game, and do not mind buying a bad port, and you buy it on sale for $2.49, I fully recommend it. If you have the option though, I suggest you pick up the X360 version as that is the only version where multiplayer is still supported (co-op is very fun). I think you can use Tunngle as a workaround for PC MP, but I'm not 100% sure.

This game is top

Playing Portal should just be a requirement to buying a game on Steam. It's so deeply ingrained in (especially) PC Gaming culture at this point. Just an absolute must play
