deserves the game of the year award with how much love and care it was given into, along side making it like the original as much as possible with cute little references to the old game. some things i prefer in the original over remake, but overall this game is amazing and the perfect way to experience silent hill 2 but i definitely would recommend playing the original as well. both games are amazing in their respected eras, just like with resident evil 4 og and remake
