Just like RuneScape, only you can play the game without sinking thousands of hours into it, but if you die on your hardcore you lose it forever and you feel empty inside :)

At first glance, this game may appear to be a visual masterpiece with a beautiful atmosphere that is engaging and fun to explore. However, I do not recommend wasting your time with this game.

Along with the repetitive, melodramatic piano tunes, this game lacks a lot of depth. The rather forgettable story unfolds as you progress through the game, relayed as a series of images depicting some history behind the game's characters. You are required to explore the land and scale massive buildings looking for supplies to help save your sick/dying brother. Miku (the girl you play as) moves painstakingly slow. There is no option to "run," and often when climbing certain handholds, your character will "slip" for a moment and take a few extra seconds to actually make it up. In addition to the main story "supplies," there are 60 "secrets" to uncover in this world, which, given the slow pace of exploration, will just become agonizingly boring to find.

I bought this game for $1.99, which was a great price, but not worth the hassle for this game. If you are an achievement hunter, it will take between 3~5 hours to 100%, but even so, save your money.

Hotline Miami is a fast-paced, colorful, wild, 80s-style bird's-eye view action shooter that honestly deserves the award for "most enticing game." You constantly feel eager to complete a level to the best of your ability. You stride to earn high combo chains, boldness and time bonuses. If you die, you start again. And again. And again. Until you get it right, until you develop a rhythm. You learn as you progress. You become better with each death, and with each chapter completed. You learn the ropes from killing a lot and dying a lot.

The retro house-inspired music is a divine attribute to the game, and in my opinion, it is the most exalted feature. Seriously, go listen to the soundtrack. Bump those tunes and instantly fall in love.

You really have to play your cards right as you venture from level to level, otherwise, you lose momentum. Yes, you may rush in, pummel some goons as fast as possible, thinking you're all that and a bag of chips, but it might result in your demise. If you become a maniac, you might fail. It is strategic in the sense that you plan ahead. You plan your route, your moves, your rate of speed. There are many notable intricacies that you will pick up as you play the game.

As for the storyline, it's mysterious. It's up in the air. Theories depict certain concepts but they're all a blur. You must find out for yourself as you play the game. It's basically a personal interpretation, and that's what I love so much about it.

Overall, I would ever so graciously rate this game a 9.5/10.
Music is fantastic, gameplay is enticing, story is interesting, style is hip. Music is fantastic.
This game is worth every penny! I highly recommend purchasing it :)

The sniping mechanics in this game are so divine, it is the pinnacle of its entertainment value.
This is an incredibly immersive game that can keep you playing for hours on end, should you enjoy World War 2 stealth-like shooters that indubitably require a lot of patience and attention.
There is indubitably a great sense of accomplishment each time you drill a bullet from your sniper rifle straight through the skull of a German soldier. The character narration and enviromental settings take you on a simulated journey of taking on the role of an American sniper, and such is quite charming. The plotline of this game is enticing enough to keep the player interesting in progressing further through the game.

However, my bit of beef with this game is that the sniping mechanics are so well-rounded and the other forms of assault are poorly constructed (in my honest opinion). Other than the sniping, the combat lacks stability and can become very frustrating when some missions require you to take a ground-level approach. I have yet to fully progress through the game but I have already come across this issue a number of times.

I highly recommend this game for any stealth-shooter fans or history buffs! (though 30 dollars is a hefty price to pay; waiting until a sale would be ideal). If you were able to grab it for free the other day, then wonderful! Enjoy! :)

This game is rude, crude, suggestive and vulgar.

One of the best Roguelike games out there. This is indubitably a "must-buy" for those who liken the genre; very worth the low expense.
Don't hesitate to buy the DLC (Binding of Isaac: Wrath of the Lamb) as well! Provides you with about +70% more content in comparison to the original for a full sale price of $3.00! Hella worth it! :D
This game will keep you busy for hours; though the concept of the game revolves around one general idea, the constantly-changing rooms in this dungeon-crawler leave you anxious to discover more and more and more!
