Introduction
Tunche: Arena is a free side arena game that gives players just a taste of the way the game Tunche will play like and the combat system. There isn't much content here, but there's just enough to give you a taste of what Tunche will be like.

Gameplay
There are two game modes, Horde and Endless. Horde mode gives you a set amount of XP that you have to spend in one go in the skill tree, from there you'll have to fight 8 waves of enemies and then the boss in order to win. The skill tree is nice, there isn't an overwhelming amount of skills and abilities for you to pick from but enough for it to suit a few playstyles that you might inherit.

As you fight wave after wave new enemies will get introduced, unfortunately there doesn't seem to be great variety in enemy types but still enough to keep it interesting. Would like there to of been more enemy types, as in endless mode you can get quite far (I got to like wave 36) and seeing the same old enemies just with increasing damage didn't really make me want to keep playing through the endless waves.

The boss that you fight at the end of the horde mode is no joke. It's an interesting boss battle that has multiple stages, doesn't overstay it's welcome and really opens up to other boss battles that we are bound to see in the release of Tunche. It raises the bar high for other boss battles that we will see in the upcoming full game.

Controls in this game feel great, smooth, responsive and you can string together a nice amount of combos depending on what skills you want to invest in. You can really feel each attack that you lay upon the enemy as you string them into a powerful combo to finish them off! Playing on a controller is probably recommended, as it's a fighting brawl game, but I suppose the keyboard controls wouldn't be too bad.

Graphics
Hand-drawn graphics look amazing, and everything is done with a great amount of detail. Looks colourful, vibrant and just in general looks fantastic. The animations for your attacks, enemies attacks, that little bird you have are all smooth and seamless. I also love the way the main character just looks, like they just don't care what's happening around them.

Music
The soundtrack for the game is great, really gives off that atmosphere of being in a jungle area fighting frogs, monkeys and various other creators that you come across. Can't wait to hear more music in the full release of Tunche!
