Do you like FPS games? Do you like FPS games in a sandbox world? Do you like games that push things to the edge in a world of political correctness? Well, POSTAL 2 might just be the game for you.

Story:
The story of the game is simple. It's all about the protagonist fittingly named Postal Dude and his daily errands. The game is separated into five levels, but if you include the Apocalypse Weekend expansion, there's seven. One level for each day of the week. Each day has it's own list of errands that Dude must complete in order to progress to the next day. As you follow Postal Dude on his journey and complete errands, something always goes wrong such as being attacked by video game protesters, rednecks and various other social groups that become Dude's enemies throughout the game.

Gameplay:
The game gives you a large arsenal of weapons to combat these enemies. Sure, you can use your standard weapons like shotguns or machine guns, but why stop there when you can get a cat and attach it's rear end to the muzzle? There's a great selection of melee weapons as well. There's sledgehammers, boomerang machetes, shears, scythes and more. So if decapitating your enemies with a shotgun blow to the head just isn't doing it for you, you can run around with your shears and manually dismember your enemies limb by limb. There's also gasoline and matches that you can use to set people on fire. Did I mention that you can piss on people? Well you can. You can even piss on yourself. So if you ever find yourself on fire, just unzip, look up and let it rain. You can play the game the way YOU want to play it. If you want to run around shooting everything in sight, you can. However, if you want to play without so much as attacking a single person, you can do that as well. It may be more challenging that way, but it's possible.

Conclusion:
Overall, this is an amazing game. Don't come looking for a deep, thought-provoking story. This game doesn't have it. But what it does have is incredibly addictive gameplay with practically endless possibilities and a plot that's simple enough to keep your interest along the way. This is one of those games where once you beat it, you likely won't stop playing it for a while. It's a fun sandbox to run around in aimlessly while you watch your favorite TV show or listen to your favorite podcast. If you're offended easily, this game may not be for you. Otherwise, I'd highly recommend it. This may very well be my favorite FPS game of all-time and if it isn't, it's definitely up there.
