Now this is poggers.

The story in Code Vein is very cool and the lore and history is shown through memories of the past, all 3 endings are very unique and the gameplay is fun, it's anime souls, what more could I say?

Initial Comments
No pun intended with the title! It really is one of my favorite games!!
Date A Live is one of my favorite series, in both the anime and light novels, so when I heard this game announced I didn't hesitate to pre-order the limited edition, and I can safely say, after nearly 60 hours from playing constantly. I have 100% this game with all achievements and I can safely say it is absolutely worth every penny.

Character
The game helped me learn more and get more attached to all the characters we know and love, Kurumi is still best girl! On the topic of characters, the new game only characters being Rinne, Rio, Maria, and Marina, were really well written characters and I enjoyed every moment with them on screen, they had amazing development across all games and made me want more of them in the books and anime!

Art
The sprites in the game are really high quality and flow nicely, the CGs in the game are really nice to look at and are really well made and fit the theme well and stay true to the characters.

Story
I very much enjoyed the story, it kept me hooked across all 3 of the games and no matter what I couldn't stop playing, each character had its own unique story to follow, that alters a lot of the dialogue from them and other characters, with special ending CGs for each character. For the main story I felt the idea of "going into another world" to be a little overused, since it happens in every game, but regardless of that the story made me laugh, and even bring me to tears at times with the sad and tragic parts mixed in with the happy and fun parts. There's a bit of everything in here and I loved every moment of it!

Limited Edition
As of writing this review limited edition version of the game is still available, the box in question is rather small, with an art book, a CD for the sound track, a steel case, and a body pillow of Kurumi, the art book also comes with its own little light novel type of thing to read! However, buying the limited edition didn't give me Deluxe edition digital download pack so I had to get that separately, which I personally don't mind but it was rather frustrating at the time. Escentially, if you like Kurumi and can afford it, go for it, the pillow case is very high quality and nice to the touch, but, other than that it's not the best LE, especially if you don't have a disc drive, making the CD not even usable! Regardless of all that, I'm glad I bought it.

Conclusion
In conclusion I'd say if you're a fan of Date A Live this is a must buy, even if you're not a huge fan of visual novels, I personally don't tend to play them, but I was hooked in this one and couldn't stop playing, however if you hate reading, which I honestly enjoy to read a lot personally so my opinion on it being a "must buy" is probably biased, however if reading isn't you thing, I still urge you to try the game! Wait for a sale or when the price drops to buy it, I did every ending possible, CG, and Memory, and I don't regret a bit of it, I loved this game and will probably will replay it many times in the future, I really enjoyed it. Since I got the LE I also have myself a Kurumi body pillow, so whats not to love! I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and I hope this convinces you to give the game a try! <3

This short game is beautiful, it tells an amazing story with 4 endings in just shy of an hour, the art is fantastic, it's full of life, color, emotion and just overall incredible, I really dig this art style! I urge anyone to try this game, it's FREE after all, takes no time at all to download, it's a must play!

One of the more fun survival games I've played, and one of the best running ones to top it off, it has a very fun combat system with a great range of weapons and armors, the map is expansive and fun to explore, and discovering new zones for the first time from the cracks in the walls, through dank gloomy tunnels, out into the huge endless jungle after you've been stuck in the sandy waste land for so long is one of the most amazing sights to behold in this game, it has fun challenging dungeons with amazing bosses and interesting puzzles. Playing this game with friends over the past week has been amazing, I recommend trying this game out, it's different to most of the Survival games that flood the store!
