This game is a complete experience with tons of polish. The characters make it stand out to great degree, and there's replay value too. It's more than worth your money and time. I would reccomend it to anyone.

It's a charming board game. As for comments that it's primarily luck, It's no more so than a game of poker, or the likes. There's luck in your hand, but how you play it is up to you. Tactics mater, I reccomend the game if you've got some friends to play it with. Short matches mean easy pick up and play.

This game was one of the best I have played in recent memory. A game where you don't have to fight anyone, or you can go around doing as you please. I don't know if it's an intentional deconstruction of the Genre or just uniquely brilliant.

The game's most defining feature are its charachters, it's easy to feel the thought and care that went into each one.

Classy 4x, the implementation of the battle system misses a few marks, It's easy to toss a should-win battle and win a definatle loss, valid vs ai, painful versus players.

I'm a long time fallout fan, I've played all of them but tactics. This game's been a long time coming, and there's been quite a lot of very valid opinions on both sides of the fence. Fallout 4 takes a noticible turn from what we've come to expect out f a fallout game.

One of the biggest qualms people have about the game is the lack of skills, and yes, It's true, Skills as they were have been completely removed from the game. Instead, their equivilant is now found in the form of a multi-tiered perk system. Instead of recieving skill points upon leveling up, you recieve one point that can be used to spend on either Raising your SPECIAL stats by one, or taking a level of a perk. Where once you might have put ten points into your lockpick skill, you now put a single point in your lockpicking perk, enabling you to pick one higher difficulty of lock. 25 Hours in and I'm still not sure exactly how I feel about this. It seems to me to be just a different way of acomplishing the same general gameplay barriers as skills did, but as with most new things, I'm hesitant to make a call on this.

Another issue people have voiced concern over is that with the addition of the voiced protagonist, the dialog system has recieved a massive overhaul. Now, you select from one of four conversation options that give you a general idea of what your charachter will say, and they all (usually) tend to advance the story in a specific direction. This serves as more than an annoyance, It can actively prevent you from roleplaying a drastically different charachter than what they've given you to work with. You are a concerned father, end of sory, unfortunatly.

Those two issues, along with map size, (which is actually pretty decent, it's pretty densely packed, I guess some people prefer the wandering empty spaces.) are the primary issues people seem to be turning the game down on. Yet, for those three issues, there's plenty more to enjoy. The combat is much smoother, and the player no longer feels like he or she is controlling a hovering vacuum across the landscape, which is inappropriate seeing as in this game more than any of the others there's great incentive to stuff all nearby junk in your pockets to serve a far-refined crafting system. Guns and armor are now highly variable in what the player can do with them, turning a revolving sub-machine gun into a deadly precision rifle with ease. On top of this, the settlement system joins in as one of the larger game mechanics that a player can toy with, and serves to add some great substance and personal motivation to continue playing, making your communities thrive.

All in all, there's some very valid reasons for people to be somewhat dissapointed with a few of the changes, it feels like something apart from New Vegas and Fallout 3. Yet, Fallout 3 was a great jump away from it's predacessors, in any case. It's important to look at this game as it's own entity, and on that point, the improved gameplay mechanics and flow make it an altogether enjoyable experience that anyone might be glad to sink some serious money into.

Verdun is an Interesting concept to begin with. There aren't that many FPS WWI games out there, and this game takes the unique theme and runs with it. The Rifle combat Is good, and there's enough class and weapon variety to keep you busy, withought the gameplay feeling too dependant on classes and such. Lots of stuff to still be implimented, but so far it's a fun game to play, and I recomend it to History nuts and anyone looking for a unique shooter.

This is a wonderfully crafted game with a unique atmosphere and attention to detail I have not seen in quite a while. The atmosphere is fantastic and the story tugs at one's heart strings. The gamplay is primarily puzzles and avoid obstacle-chase sequences, all-in-all making for a simple, yet entetaining experience. I highly reccomend this game to anyone who is willing to face the emotions this game will confront you with.
